FREEHOLD — Before Bobby Flay told the Asbury Park Press about his future plans, one man had long been in line to get a copy of "Bobby Flay's Grill It!" cookbook, signed by the author.
Chuck Schmalzel, a 48-year-old Neptune resident, held his ground at the Freehold Barnes and Noble, Route 9, from just before 3. Flay didn't start signing until 7 p.m. "I love to cook, and I love to grill," he said, referencing the author's focus in his eighth and newest book. Schmalzel watches all the shows on the Food Network, and that includes "Throwdown with Bobby Flay." In this show, Flay challenges top chefs to cookoffs in their field of specialty. "I watch them all, and he's got class," Schmalzel said of Flay. Behind Schmalzel, sisters Patty McCullough of the Bayville section of Berkeley Township and Sue Lithgow of Freehold sat cross-legged on the carpet. 1 no. i remember that post and i only asked if i could ad something about my ebay perfume business on here. and, i got jumped on for that to. it seems like anything that doesnt insult someone or trash something gets jumped on. its almost like you get a prize for being the most mean and rude here. when u are serious and honest its like a signal to be trashed. i guess normal stuff is to boring and fake names let u hurt other people and get away with it. nobody says stuff like what i see here to u'er face. |
