Yes, it has been reported that he is also supporting the restoration or preservation of our Palais Theatre in St Kilda.
That's so good of him, putting something back into the industry.

Freehold is on my list to visit on my next US jaunt. Want to do the NJ area, not just because of it's music scene.

Brent,

You are much better off visiting and posting on the Freehold Voice site. You'll get much better answers there.

Freehold is historicly important in the revolutenary war. and the people here really are nice. I think you'd enjoy visiting.

Brent,

The state really has a lot to offer - the beaches and shore towns, the northwest corner sits on the appalachian mountain range, we have our share of lakes, pretty towns along the Delaware river, farmland in some place and maor industry in others, and its proximity to two major cities, New York and Philadelphia. The state really runs the gamut in a relatively small amount of space. Most people that live here love the state itself, but loathe our political leaders in Trenton, the state capitol. It's an expensive place to live.

Brent, there's a lot to see here in NJ, plus you will be close to NYC and Philadelphia, which has a historic district.

Yes brent, go read about illegal immigrants, overcrowded flats, day laborers lining the historic street, gang bangers shooting at the police headquarters, drunkards hanging out at the towncenter liquor store, vacant storefronts, angry posters and nay saying excuse makers.

brent, if you like what you read, please plan to stay as long as you like.

Forget what your travel visa says. According to th NJ US Attorney, Chris Christy "Being in this country without proper documentation is not a crime,". "The whole phrase of 'illegal immigrant' connotes that the person, by just being here, is committing a crime." Being undocumented may be a civil wrong, but it's not a criminal act, Christie said.

How is the economy in the UK?

Sure bum, the people that are left behind. over 70 thousand people moved out of NJ last year, and even more are projected for 08. NJ has the nations 2nd highest "Evacuation" rate.

For those that remain here, does misery love company, or does misery make company equally miserable?

Brent,

Be sure to visit Monmouth Battlefield State Park just outside of town. This was a major battle in our revolution against the Limey Redcoats. One in which we held the field while 'you people' left in the night (IE-we beat your arses!). Besides, it's a really nice park....HOPEFULLY it'll be open when you get here, our Governor intends on closing it!(budget concerns) Oh well, if we could only be run by 'you people' again....things were much simpler then......people were ticked at paying a little tax on tea! If they could see us now, they'd be ashamed!

Colonial, what history book will you reference. This was an insignificant skirmish, a simple nuisance to the kings army transporting equipment and troops to New York from Philadelphia.
