Well folks, I figured I would revive this thread to share some excellent, unexpected news...
Those of you who know me, know that I haven't heard from my oldest son since 2004 thanks to "Dad-itude"...Well, last night that all changed...He hit me up on FB and we chatted 'til the wee hours of the morning...MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH...
He's in the National Guard, and works at a home for troubled boys...Doing as well as can be expected in our current economic climate, but giving back all the same...I couldn't be prouder...
Of course I got filled in on some juicy stuff...Stuff that is so obviously "Kharma" from certain things certain people said/did to me years ago, and quite amusing...No I'm not gloating, but I am one twisted individual that can recognize when others are simply receiving their "come-uppance"...LOL !!!

So, I figured I'd share this with my Topix peeps...You guys have heard all the gory details of my mess, so I thought I'd start the New Year with good news...It feels awesome...
I hope that this is a sign of things to come in 2010, and that everyone is receiving great news of their own...
