Obama and the Illinois House of Thieves.
Once his campaign collapses, let's join together to vote Obama, Daley, Blago, Stroger and Durbin off of our payroll once and for all.

The Tribune's investigative report on "Obama's Lot" came up with nothing, zero, improper on Obama's part. Nor has Kass produced any evidence of wrongdoing. He just keeps flogging it again and again without any facts. But a hit piece by Kass never requires facts, just his opinion and a keyboard.

"Sumptuous lot next door"? C'Mon, John. He sold Obama 10 feet of the neighboring lot. I understand why you can't stick to the facts- they don't paint as good a story as you're trying to weave. You're really reaching here.
Obama DOES have to come clean about whatever his relationship was with Rezko- the sooner the better. When he does, it will prove to be, at worst, much ado about very little.
Good to see you're concerned about corrupt influences in politicians backgrounds, unlike in 2000 when W was running. Better late than never, I say.

Mr. Kass will be happy with the results of the November election. I predict McCain will win.(Disclosure: I am an Independent who, at this time, can't imagine EVER voting for a Republican.)
Thanks to the multiple ways in which candidates can be slimed, and thanks to all the media outlets to disperse the stories, the next few months are going to be ugly.(Yes, Mr. Kass, I count your column among that number.)
Obama will probably eventually lose out to stories like this one and the madrassa crap, wild speculator about the personal meaning of his middle name, etc. And, in the end, Hillary will prove too divisive (note to Bill: stop talking NOW).
The only chance the Dems have in November is if the non-white MAJORITY that now comprises this country can get out large numbers to vote. They surely know that the GOP does NOT work in their best interests.

How does a man with little legislative experience (name one bill he sponsored, please)lay claim to the legacy of Camelot? He said Hilary was wrong, that it's not a job for CEO, but a leader. I guess he's never worked for a corporation, or any other organization that had a head person called a CEO or President! The issue of Tony Reszko isn't the point, it is his lack of judgement!

Your competitors over at the Washington Post are reporting that Obama gave all the contributions tied to Rezko's relatives and businesses to charity.
Will you write about that?
Should I hold my breath waiting?

Didn't I hear Resco was involved in a Bush dinner? Let's get pictures of that in this article so Kass can bash everyone in politics, as he well should. Shame on you John for insulting your readers.

Amen. What has Obama ever done to show he could lead a nation? He's an empty vessel people pour their personal desires and wishes into. What successes, what policies, what vision does he offer other than vague appeals to hope and change and a desire to stay above the fray, away from sicarii like the Clintons? If there were no Clintons, Obama would not be a factor.

Obama is a Chicago Democratic politician and they all have their hands in the cookie jar. If there is something here this could be very interesting.

He gave all the donations to charity after he got caught.

Although Klass usually botheres me to no end he's hit the nail on the head on this one. Obama is a crook like the rest of them. Plain and simple.

I thought the independent vote could go either way between the Democrats and the Republicans. Maybe you split your vote between the Democrats and the Vegetarian Party.

With the reports today of everyone else dropping out, there won't be much choice, ethics wise.

Write something substantive instead of making up silly rhymes. If you have something new to add about Rezko and Obama, do so; otherwise, let another writer take the space.

If Rezko will crow loud enough we may see a lot more lefties exposed. Hillary and Obama we're both in his camp until he got indicted. It is just like their character to cut and run wherever and whenever things go south. Don't put the nuclear button in either of their hands.
