Wow now we have two leaders who don't know our county. They watch too much CSI. Our safety is in the guys who live and know our county. Computers not the answer. Old fashion police work is the key. Looks like London bridges won't last

OK when have we ever seen good old fashioned police work here in either the sheriffs or the C.P.D.?

no, no there is no police work. my car was stolen returned to me by the police, and later i found evidence in the car they failed to search before returning it that linked it to a buglary. because i found it, not the police, chain of custody was broken, and the perps got away scott free. didnt even get charged with stealing it. the police here are crooked, and dont care to solve crimes... because their jobs would be obsoliete if they actually caught the criminals.

I've stated before that I'm not a big fan of our local cops but the whole sherriff thing is ridiculous. First, the elected official has never worked for the place and has limited/questionable law enforcement experience to begin with. Second, he hires a guy to be under him whos only been to Carlsbad a few times ? Really ? Did I read all that correctly ?

The thing is, the Mendoza/Waller Cabal needed to be and has been finally broken. Sheriff London will be a fine public servant. As will his Deputies and Staff. I had the opportunity to hear both Mendoza and London speak recently. Sheriff Mendoza came off looking like a total baboso while London was direct, professional and responsive. These are traits that make a good law enforcement officer.

Good luck Sheriff London and good riddance Mendoza/Waller!!

It is not just the crooked police here in Carlsbad, it is the courts as well, it all falls back to the good old boys and girl that controls all the crooked dealings and drugs here in Carlsbad.

They protect their people in courts and the straight cop their hands are tied, because of the court in Carlsbad are crooked.
