My sympathies to the families of AJ,Josh and Jenny! Three young lives cut short by someone's lack of good sense and judgement! Their families are left with pain and sorrow. My family and I are going through the same thing as our beloved daughter got killed in a car accident in a very similar situation!

My heart goes out to all the families and friends who lost a loved one in this tragic accident. I will keep you all in my prayers and I hope that you all find the strength that is needed to carry on with your lives. May all your loved ones rest in peace!! My heart also goes out to the driver, I hope that one day the families can find it in their hearts to forgive you. I also pray that you can make a difference with other young adults in our community when you do your community service, that you can reach out to them and make them realize that driving fast will only lead to heartache and that one time could cost someone or many their lives!! I will pray for you as well and I hope that you will have the strenght to get through this very difficult time in your life.

Unless you have been a parent or had someone close to you die senselessly, you will never realize the pain and sorrow one goes through for the rest of their lives. The driver will lead a life someday, these 3 young people should have had,- go to college, get married, have children, travel, etc.

My heart and prayers goes out to the familes and friends who lost a loved one in this tragic accident. My dear fiends are gong thru a very similar situation. to often teens die in tragic
automobile accidents. I feel that most of the time this could be avoided if only the drivers would think about the ramifications of there actions and the people they could effect. The families left behind are devastated. Think about this the next time you get behind the wheel of a car.

sorry, it willnot bring the others back...but one year in jail is not enough time for what happened. it was not accident when this young lady made the choice to drive fast that terrible day....but when the fatel incident occured then it was a accident.....5 years would have been more like it and 5 years probation with 1,000 hours to give back to the city.......but here we are again withthe slap on the hand.......

You are exactly right. What she got equates to no more than a slap on the wrist. She will be back out on the streets in (at the most) 4 months and I'm sure when she gets out, she'll be back in court crying in front of the same douchebag judge trying to get her probation lifted so she can drive again. As I understand it, she is not allowed to drive while she is on probation. That SHOULD mean she cannot drive for three years. We all know THAT wont fly. She'll be back behind the wheel in no time at all - especially if she puts on the crying act in front of that same spineless judge.

I am extremely disappointed with our judicial system - especially when it's represented by judges like this one.

This girl should have received the maximum sentence for her actions that took three wonderful young lives. I don't care if I seem politically incorrect when I make these comments - this is how I feel.

Since when do we have more sympathy and compassion for the SUSPECT than we do the victim? I'm sorry, but this girl caused THREE deaths - and she'll be punished for this by sitting in a jail cell for what basically amounts to about a month PER VICTIM? Give me a big fat friggin' break!

This is bullsh!t and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out!!

Jail won't change anything, bring anyone back, or bring anyone closure. It will just make angry people satisfied for the moment but in the long run they're going to have to find peace within themselves.

Yes this was a tragic accident, My heart goes out to everyone invovle and who was touch by this accident in the whittier area and where these wonderful teens lived with thier loved ones, But we must remember it could happen to any one of us, And we can be the in eithier side, The parents of these teens or the parent of the driver and we just never know, And we must show compassion and love all around,Im sure this will never be forgotten, But lets not be the one to judge either, cause we just never know when or if it were to be us going through this, our prayers go out to all involve and to future teen drivers drive safe and please watch your speed. god bless

People in our society rarely take drivng serious. I see all kinds of drivers driving like idiots all the time. People driving like their always late, putting on their make up, weaving in and out of traffic, not signaling, cutting others off, etc. and then the ones who, for some unknown reason, always have to be talking or texting on their stupid cell phones. I believe the state shares the blame also. Anyone can walk into the DMV and take a driving test/exam, that any idiot can pass, get a driver's license and be on the road almost instantly.

Yeah... keep kidding yourself. This will never be me, know why ?, because when I have other people, as passengers, in my car I drive even more careful than I already do, I don't go driving like an idot like this little brat did. I guarantee you and brat's "cousin" wouldn't be preaching this kind of bullsh!t had any of you lost a loved one like these poor families did. Talk is cheap, you and "cousin" remember that.... I hope brat wakes up everyday of her pathetic little life realizing what she has done and how she has forever damaged all of these families. You two want to play dumb and stupid ? go ahead, knock yourself's out, I'm a realist not a theorist.

People like you say it will never be me cause I drive careful, Im sure you do. But what about in the future when you have children or grandkids can you promise that they will drive the same as you. No. thats what I thought thats what the message was trying to say, sure we hope others families dont go through this, we hurt with these families, but we just never know what the future will be for us and generations to come, never say never. and sure being a realist doesnt show at all that you have to name call people you dont even know.

see,the thing is, Xenia is not looking at this as her taking on the responiblity of this accident.I believe she sees this as what is being taken away from her. Like going to jail, not being able to drive and community service. These are all an inconvenients to her.I believe she will not completely understand the ache in your body until she has a child of her own and she is laying in bed holding this child, watching her child sleep when the thoughts creep in. I believe her prayer will be "Please don't let anything bad happen to my baby. Please allow her the make good chooses and to make good friends that will help to protect her. Please make sure she comes back home safe tonight." This is what all parents say to themselves.Until than,I believe she has no idea what she has truly done. I just feel sick thinking it will take her that long to understand.

even though jail time will not bring those poor children back to life that girl got off with a slap on the wrist. thats horrible that she only got that much time. to kill 3 people and only get that sentence.

Ridiculous. She takes away three young children and only gets 1 year. Unbelievable how judges as stupid as this one exist and how Xenia Guerra can sit back and take such light punishment for such a reckless and horrific crime.

My Opinnon is Xenia will have to live with this on her conscious the rest of her life. which is harder death or suffering? I think suffering your actions..While she has lost three of her friends by her driving I feel they have forgiven her and are in a better place with GOD. God can only judge..

Thats what im saying. Everyone forgets that these were her good friends to not some random people she didn't know. Hector forgave her im sure Jenny would have since this was her BEST friend. She is going to have to live with the guilt of this which is a tougher sentence then any judge could impose. And for the "REALIST" up there. A realist would agree that sending her to jail only makes people who arent really criminals turn in to them. and for the people who don't know anyone. why are you even on here? you guys are lame as hell
