I love Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine. It introduces kids to skills and interests that can last them a lifetime. Give them a sense of accomplishment and skill.
Thank you for all of your efforts.

God help the poor kids that eat the mutant poisonous fish that comes from The Long Beach Cesspool called a bay. Get that damn breakwater down!

Have fun, But please don't eat the fish. Most of Southern California coastal waters are too polluted to catch edible fish. You have to go out a ways, or go up north where you can fish and haul in seafood from the coast without fear of poisons and pollutants.

The breakwater will only mitigate the pollution. We need to stop the pollution from coming down the river.

Do like Chicago, reverse the flow of the LA River so all the pollution goes north to LA.

OldGuy you are a million times right. Too bad it will won't happen, the streets are a free-for-all-trash-can-wastela nd from North Long Beach and upwards and too bad all their mess goes downwards! It would be nice, and amazing, if people didn't just throw their trash all over the place --- lazy, sloppy people are some of the worst.

Croak's got it right too, wonder what they'd do if we plugged up the cr*ap they 'send us' and see how they like the smell and sight of it!

Does everything have to turn into a breakwater vote?

Kids went fishin', let it go at that...

There are cities along the river that have responsibilities and private industries as well. This is much bigger than just lazy sloppy people.
