When will our government see that the R.C.C. should be charged under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act?

Just a hunch, but maybe they need evidence instead of taking the word of a convicted felonious sex offender like Rodriguez.

Interesting. So I guess all the testimony that former hit men gave isn't any good either.

Nice to see you defend a group that has shown a clear pattern of protecting child rapists.

Says a great deal about your moral compass Dan.

Let me guess. You also believe it's OK for Christians to ignore the Bible passages that instruct them to obey civil authorities as a defense for practicing religious discrimination by refusing service to gays and lesbians.

Guess in your world if anyone says "I'm a Christian" they can do whatever they please and to hell with laws. Oh right you'll claim they are obeying God's law.
Aren't these part of God's law?

Hebrews 13:17 ESV Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. And Romans?(they LOVE to quote Romans when gays are involved) What does Romans say about these "Christians "?

Romans 13:1-5 ESV Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Romans 13:8-10 ESV Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments,“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word:“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And we also have:

Titus 3:1 ESV Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

Hebrews 13:1-25 ESV Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said,“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

James 2:10 ESV For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. 1 Peter 2:13-15 ESV Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.

Wow James sounds like it may be referring to you Danny!

I find it interesting that anything bad about the RCC you'd trawl up, no matter the source, justifies some RICO rant against an institution you hate because of how they regard homosexuality.

Why the lecture from you here now about submission to civil authority? You were on the Kaitlyn Hunt threads bitching about the law there and how bad and wrong it was. You thought civil law respective to consent and statutory rape was all kinds of wrong.

Guess things only matter or are good and bad contingent upon how a gay person gets treated by it. Good to know you have such an expansive worldview, DNF.

BACK UP BUDDY> I DON"T hate the RCC. In fact I really like their pomp and ceremonies. I've even prayed at some Catholic Shrines! I recently picked up the book "The secret of the Rosary St. Louis De Montrott because I wanted to better understand the meaning behind it before I recite it for my dead CATHOLIC husband. That's from RESPECT for the religious beliefs of others (something the nuns obviously left out of your education, but then they aren't allowed to teach principles of religious freedom anyway are they?)

And I did NOT do what you claim on the Kaitlyn Hunt threads. I was simply saying the law wasn't well thought out. To label someone a life long sex offender for statutory rape seemed a bit extreme IMHO.

I notice you deliberately OMIT my recent condemnations of her behavior.

But that is typical of you and the leadership of the RCC. When the truth hits you in the face you come back with lies and misinformation. Or did you not notice this story came from VATICAN RECORDS!

FYI I have family members who were molested. My wrath is aimed at those who protect these people. People like you.

So go ahead and get all indignant that I find people like you who play the shell game to hide these people and protect your worldly assets disgusting.

But hey at least you guys make sure your insurance premiums for child rape are paid every month.

You wouldn't have said a damn thing about Hunt if it hadn't been made a gay cause celebre'. You only recanted when you got called on it by informed posters.

I haven't protected anyone. You're projecting.

Man up for a change Dan and explain how the proven and acknowledged actions by the Vatican itself aren't criminal conspiracy that is defined in the RICO act.

You admitted in August (finally) that Hunt was 18 when she began her deal with the then 14-year old girl. It took you that long to actually look any facts up. This was a day or two after you said the 14 year old's folks were somehow complicit in Hunt's violation of her court order to stay away from the 14-year old.

Doesn't meet the standard for predicate offenses, for one. No racketeering activity.

I evaded the subject by calling your RICO claim ludicrous and based upon your disagreement with their stance on homosexuality (which you alone mentioned three times in your first response to me)?

Nice one.

You omit where I point out that I was going by the information that I saw originally reported.

None of which has anything to do with the systematic and pervasive cover up of child rape by the RCC officials for over 100 years.

I admitted my mistake on those threads. Nice of you to leave that out in your attack.

They trained you well.

Sins of omission are your bailiwick.

No Dan my basis for citing the RICO Act has nothing to do with the RCC's stance on gay rights or homosexuality.

It is based solely on criminal conspiracy to evade prosecution.

BTW Dan I notice you leave out the FACT that I frequently point out that the official stance of the RCC about homosexuals is that GOD MADE US THAT WAY!

Spin again.

The RCC says I was made this way by God. Why would I argue against that?

How many other straws will you try to grab to excuse child rape and the conspiracy to cover it up?

Oh and Dan..

The person who was instrumental in getting the church to change it's stance on homosexuality is none other than the Pope Emeritus.

The same guy who oversaw the systematic relocation of pedophile priest throughout much of Europe!

I know it gets to you when a non Catholic knows more about your church doctrine than you do. Especially a homo!

hahahahaha

None.

Haven't offered any yet.

Doesn't meet RICO standards.

Why mention "gay" three times if it's all about RICO?
