Michael - your rambling incoherent manifesto type blogging is getting old. At first you posed a couple legitimate questions, but now your just stirring the pot. You know exactly where RDA money comes from... the State. You know exactly what it can and cannot be spent on because 6 people have replied to your comments. You seem more interested in drumming up hysteria that addressing problems or issues in a thoughtful way... so I say... GO %^$# Yourself

michael, not that i believe it for a moment, but when did you ever save anyone's life? when do you have the time between posting on every topic four or five times an hour; between riding the bus to and from your open houses; between checking out the number of police and fire on scene of an incident? i will agree with you on one thing, though, you are from another world. you must be in hog heaven; this is the most attention you have garnered in a very long time. i have a wish for you: that you are comfortable in your padded room watching the cartoon network 24 hours a day

if some one stirred the pot years ago may be this city wouldnt be in the shape its in.the RDA has 106.7 million budget for FY 2010 that money doesnt come from the state.its hard to track but from what I have found ,parking fees for sure, the rest is coming from city taxes, the port, tickets, they keeping a lot of secrets.I glad you like my posts

your funny you have nothing to say so you just try to put me down.it funny how you try to pretend that all this police and firemen work is so hard.there is nothing hard about saving some ones life you see a person drowning you jump in and save them easy.I dont do open houses,I do take the bus and train.it very easy to see the police or firemen since there every where downtown,if you just open your eyes you can see a lot.attention is easy to get, I have my reasons for doing these dumb posts and listening to all the dumb remakes for now.its just amazing how bad people live in this county.as far as hog heaven, living in this county is like being in a nightmare

michael, it is fairly obvious that your tenuous, tip o' the fingernails, grip on reality is quickly coming unraveled, if not already completely shredded. I now see that my crack about shouting at the lamp post wasn't too far off the mark.

I'm going now michael, be sure to say hello to the Mad Hatter at tea this afternoon...

You must hate Long Beach as much as I do! And if that's the case, then why are we living here? That's easy: we live here because we like to complain. It is our pastime. And in Long Beach we obviously have a never-ending supply of things to complain about. Oh well, at least it keeps us from getting bored. And besides, SOMEONE has to do it! Now get out there and have a miserable day! Brawk!

It is so hard to figure out what you are saying. I work up off Artesia and Walnut and I see the Fire Engine and Rescue Ambulance going all day and late into the night. The fire station they have on Gundry is closer to 90 years old, the Fire Engine barely fits in the station and the station houses 6 guys, and was designed to house 4. RDA money is specifically designed for infastructure and improvements to city facilities, and can't be used for salary or pension contributions. We asked the city to be more responsible and this is them doing just that. Instead of this money coming from the general fund it is coming from RDA money, which is funded not only by other city fund revenue, but from Tidelands revenue and state revenues. I hope they continue to act responsibly for all of us up here in Northtown. Instead of complaining just to complain, when you go out and talk to people, start talking to people that understand what is going on so you don't sound stupid when you spout off.
Dammmnnn! Michael you just got served!!!! If I were you I would have kept quiet after this beating, but you persist. You must love punishment. Quality post Chris.

I don't know how many fires Long Beach has. And yes, it will make a difference. I'd rather have them spend my tax money on a fire station than their own salaries.

Please get back on your meds or did the County cut that from their budget so this is what we get?
