Yeah it's true. The location printed is unreliable and approximately useless.

I totally agree. Cash rewards, and DECOYS! I think a decoy undercover operation is perfect! They should do the same with the drug dealers on the corner by Taco Bell. And a "gang banger" decoy would help to catch gang members, too. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR A-S-S SCPD!
And who exactly is going to pay for all these decoys? Who will provide the "cash rewards"? You?

Didn't they just cut the police budget?

Hmm, I don't know, maybe a Gov Grant? The City? They a re proposing new rules and cracking down on crime here, so obviously it could happen. Jerk.

A government grant? Let's be realistic here. If the police budget was cut and they had staff shortages, do you really think a magic government grant will appear to fund this cockamamie idea of "decoys"? Come on, now. It's not exactly the highest of priorities.*Someone* has seen too many movies... this isn't "New York Undercover".

The city simply can't afford something like this. How much do you want to bet that this idea won't get carried out? I'm willing to bet you $1000 right here and now that it won't happen.

Don't be silly! The California Counties just got a government grant for DUI,expired vehicle registeration and driving on suspended drivers license check points.

Buy a Taser. Pepper spray is not nearly effective. You can either kepp tasering him on the ground until help arrives or drop it and run. A C2 will keep delivering a tase for 30 seconds as you skidadle. And he won't be getting up real quick after the 30 seconds.
Legal to carry, 15ft range, easy to use, about 300 bucks and profoundly effective.
You can throw your judgements down now, but I wonder how these mounting numbers of victims would judge this post.

i thought earlier this week before this happened i was driving north bound on 1 between 41st and 17 and a silver Pyrus or what ever they are called went speeding past me, I said to myself "wow since when do beeners drive those cars" I have not called the cops as thats all i noticed a mid sized brown short hair mexican flying towards santa cruz, but our cops cant do a thing about it as there hands are tied. Our supervisors and city council passed laws making it illegal for them to ask people to show green cards or id documentation. So the hell with santa cruz I hope it rots in hell or call www.ice.gov/recall our sups and council or its just the begging folks. How calm and lame is Santa Cruz really.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Taurus

Someone is very short-tempered, and they're liable to fly off the handle at a moment's notice. Maybe they're feeling vulnerable in some way or are desperately trying to defend what they see as their territory. Be sensitive to this and don't goad them into being even more irritable or upset than they are already. Frankly, it's just not worth it.
