Really sad that this guy gets a slap on the wrist .

"This is a big deal for the animals in our county to show that we're here to protect them,"

What the heck does that mean exactly ,e

One goat was so sick, she couldn't walk on her own and was euthanized. Another goat, which was severely emaciated, recovered and is living at the Farm Sanctuary in Orland, according to Animal Services. Other animals were relocated to The Animal Place, a farm sanctuary near Vacaville,

We have done some follow-ups throughout the past year and we found the animals to be in OK condition,"

OK condition as opposed to GOOD condition as in it really isnt any better than it was before ????

Lousy story about a lousy person and lousy animal control .

pretty unbelievable that you can starve animals to death and just get a small fine. he should have the same done to him. put him in a field and give him a little bread and let him starve to death. mexicans have no regard for animals, in general.

Mr. Stosuy states: "This is a big deal for the animals in our country to show that we're here to protect them" I guess the dude doesn't want us eating sick animals.....right? because this article is about a slaughterhouse.........?

This is one of the few cases in recent history where Santa Cruz Animal Control has looked into farmed animals abuse and was able to press charges. Therefor - A big deal.

This guy getting away with starving and torturing animals shows how backwards Santa Cruz is in animal protection laws. I found that out when my four cats were murdered and the DA office told me that they did not "bother" with animal cases. That was Pam Kato and her heartless response. She is a low life DA that has no business holding a law degree.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Scorpio

A loved one is extremely upset today, and you'll soon know all about it. Things are out of proportion, so a minor hitch becomes a huge drama that means you've got to drop everything in order to calm them down. Hey ho. At least it won't last long. If you're doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, you won't have as much patience as usual and nor will anyone else.
