i agree with you about mr.todd and mr.baldwin dont niether one of them care about the kids.in my opinion they need to get rid of alot of people in that office ,they have no reason to be working with kids because some of them are are rude to the kids.

If you want to make a difference then start at the top. Get rid of the Superintendent and the yes men school board. They seem to have no problem wasting the taxpayers money. I think we need to be able to vote for the Superintendent. Only then will they care to listen to the parents. momof5, this is the only way things are going to change.

I have heard, and I DO NOT know this to be the truth that the supt. is a member of some weirdo church with strange beliefs. I do not mean, like he worships dogs or anything, but just they take the Bible to be the literal word of God and they believe women are not as important as men, and that sort of thing. Sort of the far right side of the very conservative churches. I also heard he prefers to hire teachers who are members of the same church.

Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to misrepresent the truth.

also they seem not to care that a sex offender comes on school property.they told one parent that he had a right to be there, when he spent 7 uears in prison for aggravated sodomy and child molestation.you can find him on the sex offender list in oglethorpe county.

They sure do let a sex offender named Quentin Sorrow, and I know when my son went there Mr. Todd treated him like dirt. I cannot stand that man. I would send him email, faxes, etc....and finally I would send faxes to where the whole office staff could read it asking him was he to busy to call a parent back by harassing students...It was almost like he was rooting for my son not to graduate, and my son did graduate in07 on time. I told Mr. todd if he wanted my son to fail his plan would not work that he would just be back the next year, and have to deal with me again

I agree with you all. Jeff Paul does not need to be on the board. It is a conflict of interest with his wifes position at school. The tax payers of this county deserve better then such a "yes" man as Jeff Paul.

You guys need to get together and start a concerned parent/taxpayer group. You also need to put people on the board that wives aren't teachers or, working for the school. This way when they vote. They will vote for what they feel is in the best interest of the student. They won't have to fear some back lash later from the Superintendent. YOU ALSO, need to be able to VOTE for whom gets own the Board. NOT let the Superintendent have so much power. MY OPINION is if he (Superintendent) can pick and choose (who is on the board) then, of course he is going to put people in that will go along with him. If you want change start at the top. Thats my opinion of all this.
