Red, white and booze: DNR considers Fourth of July alcohol ban at public beaches
An ordinance banning alcohol at public beaches in Dickinson County over the Fourth of July -- including the three days before and after the holiday may pass pending a DNR Commission hearing to be held this coming Thursday, May 14.

Since its our taxes that pay for these parks, shouldn't it be our decision weather or not to drink at these parks. if they kick drinkers out of the beaches they are just gonna go to family locations like arnolds park instead or just drive around.
