My god, she's 11yrs old!! It's not like she is a toddler who puts whatever she wants in her mouth. And Tourettes doesn't cause stupidity - strangest damn story I've read in awhile.

Unfortunately grammer errors are not uncommon on this site. But with the right kind of nutrients missing, this is not an uncommon craving. I'm not sure what the lack is though. I've heard of pregnant women crave that.

What does Tourettes have to do with her "not realizing" that eating metal is going to make her sick? Tourettes doesn't give you brain rot! Having the uncontrollable compulsion to eat metal even though she KNOWS it's going to hurt her...THAT'S Tourettes! Or a really screwed-up form of OCD....
