My question

If those are the qualifications of someone applying for that job, Fox would be stupid not hiring him. Who can argue with that resume! Certainly, those that have a beef with that hire would just be out looking for a fight. Giddieup!

You're right those are good qualifications.
But you are the idiot if you truly believe that he would get the job because of his qualifications. It's quite obvious he didn't get to his position now because of his qualifications. Obviously we all know that you are only responding so harshly because you are part of the the inner circle and trying to defend the soon to be head coach.

If you were conducting the search for a coach, would you hire a person with those qualifications?

Are you saying anyone with the same are better qualifications even has a chance going up against him!?! I think we all know the answer to that one. He may be qualifed but so are alot of other individuals who will not have a chance because of their relationship.

This is why relationships in the work place are banned. This is why people are fired for this. Even if qualifed, they will never be respected. Especially due to their intermingling behavior. SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!

Do you even know the qualifications of said person:
Second team All-Pac10 center at Oregon State
Offensive Coordinator at Texas A&M-Commerce
Head Coach Tyler Community College, Tyler (TX)
I'm sure if he gets the position, it will be solely because of personal relationships (eyes rolling).
Those are good qualifications!

However, while trying to find out who everyone was talking about with those qualifications, I was very disappointed to find out WHY he was no longer the Head Coach at Tyler Community College. "Said person" was relieved of his duties in January 2007 after being arrested for a DWI after crashing his car into a fence in South Tyler. I understand that people make mistakes. Since he was in a "role model" position as the Head Coach at Tyler Community College, the college gave him 24 hours to submit his resignation. Since he did not respond by the deadline, the college fired their head football coach.

Now, as long as he disclosed this information on his employment application and it was OK with the school board, then it should not be an issue. Right?

Somehow I don't think the board was aware of that fact. Similarly they are apparently unaware of many facts. Would they have allowed the hiring of staff not qualified? Do they even question what is going on? Or do they follow blindly because of the awards and somewhat skewed numbers that are given to them? The board has not done their job and there are those that have been given free reign to do whatever they choose to do and hire whomever they choose-regardless of their credentials or lack there of. It is time to wake up and see what is going on around there.
Coach First Year Pay

According to MO DESE Salary data from the STLTODAY site, Coach was paid quite well in his FIRST YEAR of Public School Experience in the Fox C-6 School District where he was paid $98,589. His job title has him listed as a "Supervisor".

What did he Supervise?

For starting pay within any school district where funding is paid for by public funds, I consider $98,589 to be a very high starting pay. Especially since the records show that he has not worked in a Public School before. That salary is nearly as much pay as a principal who has been there for over 10 years in the district. I can see how this would be a morale issue for other staff within the district that have been there for many more years.

How did the school board justify his starting pay?

Does anyone else see this as an issue?

I agree that the School Board needs a BIG WAKE UP CALL!!

The School Board is responsible for overseeing the district and I would agree that the school board members have looked the other way far too long or have been blocked from seeing things by Ms. Brown. It is their responsibility to ensure that things are being done properly. By not verifying things themselves is simply Irresponsible and a Dereliction of Duty and violates the Trust of the Community that voted them into their positions.

It truly is disappointing to discover everything that has been going on.

For all Concerned Citizens of the Fox C-6 School District, the next School Board Meeting is Tuesday December 14. I hope to see many of you there looking for answers!

Unfortunately not all of the blame can be placed on administration. The school board has blindly followed never once truly questioning all that has taken place here. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is what happens when accountability is not in place.

The board and the little inner circle of amdinistration are so corrupt. It is amazing to me how they could get so much power. I feel sorry for the district, children and the workers not involved. They have to walk around knowing these things, being passed over and never being able to say anything because they would lose their job. There are so many serious concerns, I hope to see you at the meeting. We all need to stand together and say enough is enough.

Several seats will be open on the school board this year. I am going to do my homework, ask the right questions and vote wisely. If it is just not an admin problem, then three new board members can hopefully help!

That is a great idea voter. We all need to take an active role in our children's school district. We cannot allow this to continue.

Yes enough is enough. The school board and administration need to be held accountable for all that is going. The favoritism that is being played among this inner circle needs to stop. We all know what's going on. Every concerned fox citizen needs to email a link to this forum to all their friends and family in the district and in turn have them do the same. Let's get a wave of concerned people to the next December 14th meeting. Let's show the board that we DO care and we DO want change. Our children have a short window of opportunity to learn and excel within this district. So the time for change is NOW. Let's get the answers to all of or questions and concerns.

Very good idea to email this link to people. I have emailed every parent in my contact list. I suggest everyone does the same. We are the only ones to make a difference.

It is pathetic, that a college fires someone for bad choices - and these are with adult students. These individuals are in an elementary school! It is unacceptable. The teachers can not speak up for fear of their jobs, so we need to speak for them.

Please take a stand!

It is quite amusing to me that you label them as "disgruntled ex-wives" in an attempt to be dismissive. First, don't you think they have a reason to be "disgruntled?" Second, just because someone is "disgruntled," it doesn't mean that their position isn't valid or should not be taken seriously. Third, I question how you would be "in the know" that the "disgruntled ex-wives" are posting to this forum. In any event, I would hope that anyone, disgruntled or not, who has takes issue with how their school administration is leading would bring those issues to light. Sweeping such things under the rug does no one any good. What difference does it make who is bringing the issue to the public forum?

Everyone has been scared up until this point to mention the individuals involved. And you have the nerve to post these poor wives names out here. What have these wives done to deserve your behavior? Letís beat them up more while they are down. Are you kidding me? You hang out at the superintendentís house, who mind you had to put up a privacy fence so people in the district didnít see you drinking and carrying on. You hung out and rode each others coat tails long enough. You should have been home with your families were you belonged.
Diane Brown, Jamie Critchlow, Dan Baker and Angie Burns you have infiltrated the system long enough. And the wives and husbands have every right to be disgruntled. You have ripped their families apart. However, I doubt they are causing trouble on this site. What would they have to gain? It would not benefit their family if the individuals lose their jobs. And it is obvious they think of their children and their feelings much more than the selfish people involved.
This is just another sad attempt by the individuals involved to get the topic off them and on to somebody else. Itís not us, it is disgruntled spouses. BULL! This forum is buzzing strictly because of your behavior. You are at fault. As sad as it is for your significant others, that is not the point of this forum. You are just trying to avoid the real issues. You are all manipulative and this kind of behavior just proves the type of individuals you are. You do not deserve to be in the positions you are in. You are absolutely terrible role models. And I hope everyone continues to inform the parents in the district and their voices are heard on December 14th. You truly deserve anything coming your way.

I am sick of reading these accusations that have no proof what so ever. And I'm sick of people saying these "poor families" and people acting like they're so concerned about the children of these families. The only thing you people are really concerned about is running your mouths anonymously on here. Don't you think that the families involved in this have gone through enough? And how does throwing names around make it easier on the children of the families? Wow you are all saints and should be awarded. Thanks for making all this a million times easier on the families involved. If this is supposed to be a forum about the problems our children face in the district how about addressing real problems like how bad the drugs are getting in the high schools? Or is it just easier to pretend like other peoples problems are worse? Instead let's leave 240 comments about who the super intendant is dating... That'll fix the real problems in our schools. All you gossipers sound like you should still be in highschool. Grow up!

Once again. Only those in the know...know! It's truly time to put up or shut up. The bashing, whining and finger pointing needs to stop. Noone reading this cares anymore other than YOU! An equal an opposite reaction to all the complaints have been made. In time this post will dicipate as will your immature methods of attacking people. If you have a true complaiint. Why don't you state your name and take it up with them. It's most likely the methods you employ here are the same reasons why you are divorced now!

"in the know" you must be on the inside... Otherwise you would know why many have chosen not to disclose their names. If they were to disclose they would be so harrassed, moved around or let go. How many folks have tried to take a stand and have been quietly removed...it is so sad that this district is only a district of character on the outside... Inside is not so pretty.
