Be good, don't ask any questions and don't check on anything yourself. This was taken directly from the Charter for Ellisville. Does Arnold want to be just like Ellisville? Where the city council oust the newly elected Mayor because he does what he promised the people he would do regarding going against Walmart? This is a slippery slope here. Don't let them fool you, it is all a money and power grab and an attempt to sweep it all as far under the rug as they can. No accountability, no transparency to be found. What a bunch of liars, cheaters and thieves.

Since the mayor is proposing this, maybe he should look in the mirror as he's more uncivil than the rest combined.

And yet who is the hypocrite calling for people's removal from the ballot for not paying personal property ON TIME when they themself didn't pay ON TIME in 2011 and 2012.

Both sides are crooked and need to be voted out. We took care of the biggest stench last Mayoral election now lets clean out the rest of them and the county council.

Nope because we fired the real problem by voting them out in the last election.

Demand accountability. The Mayor should step down, along with the dual job holding city administrator/police chief and the city attorney. Insurance companies don't hand out $450,000 because "nothing" was done wrong.

No they shouldn't. The case didn't go to court and no guilt was determined. Hence a settlement.

We know the only way you can get the Mayor seat is if someone resigns. You have made that obvious. However, the citizens don't want you as mayor. They showed that with their vote. So now you are going against the citizen's wishes which is something you based your campaign off of, listening to the citizens.

Don't be like Ellisville! They are a charter city and have made rules that go against first amendment rights. Make sure Arnold does not do the same.

There you go again crying wolf. Ellisville is a totally different city. Not even related to Arnold.

You're really convincing the citizens that they did the right thing by voting you out in the last election. The only way you can get back in now is if someone resigns and you know that. The citizens FIRED you with their vote.

Why is the City of Arnold trying to implement something taken word for word from the Ellisville charter?

Taken from the City of Ellisville charter word for word, read it as the proof is in their charter:

You have no proof that they ran out to that charter and got it. Maybe they got it from the municipal league upon recommendation.

Can you not read? If you look at that and you look at the City of Ellisville charter, they are the same, with Arnold inserted in place of Ellisville. Plagiarism at it's finest, all the proof you need. Check into that first amendment stuff.

Why don't you check into where it really came from. It could have come from the municipal league. More allegations you can't prove.

And I know you can understand that the municipal league can give the same format to multiple municipalities to use, too. I'm not the dense one. I'm the one that just punched a HUGE whole in your conspiracy theory.

You didn't punch anything in anything. You couldn't successfully argue your way out of a brown paper bag.

I did punch a whole in it. You just can't admit when there is a different explanation. It's called denial.
