Former Gov. Roger Wilson, a Columbia native, has endorsed state Rep. Clint Zweifel's bid for state treasurer.

That would depend on your feeling about Mark Powell. I do think he took the Dems by surprise last time, and those running for treasurer are bringing out the big guns early to make sure he does not have an easy time getting the nomination this time around. If he really wants it, I think he is going to need to work a lot harder for it than he did the first time because all the candidated know he is the one to beat after what he did.
