City of Arnold Paw Park Need Volunteers.

After a series of Flooding in Arnold, Missouri, the Build Day is once again scheduled to put the Finishing touches on Arnold's PAW PARK. This park will give pet owners a place to bring their puppies that love the outdoors.

The build day is scheduled for Saturday. Please read th attatched article for more specific details. Also, you may wish to watch the weather, as a new round of storms is scheduled to hit the Arnold area this weekend.

Do I need to have my cat on a leash at the park?

The Paw Park "Build Day" is again scheduled to put the finishing touches on it. I do hope the rain holds off for the volunteers that are needed.

Okay, from now on I think everyone needs to consult me for my schedule as all of the things that I want to do conflict with other things. I have a previous committment this weekend. I really wanted to help with this. UGH! I'm going to try to make the dedication ceremony on the 18th.

Last time it was the sniffles wasn't it ? I too think everyone including city hall should consult with you before doing anything ROFL You will not be the only one showing up for the spot light at dedication that didn't lend a hand.LOL

Like I said, I have three other organizations to take care of. One of them has an event that falls on that day. It's called a life.

Also, I don't need a spotlight like you do. All you do is show up here to bash instead of contributing to the conversation. Sounds like you need attention to me. I just want to go to the dog park and see the dedication unlike some of our Council members who will undoubtedly need to be in front of the camera taking all of the credit.

Many have tried to contribute and join in, you get in there face and take over. You have run them off faster than they show up. You bash the council members but refuse to accept it yourself.
You are the DOUBLE STANDARD.

Actually, I only get in the face of people that act like you do. The people that come on here to bash everyone and not contribute to the conversation at hand. The people the derail the topics at hand, like you just did here and several other places, because they would rather bash than keep a conversation on track. Those are the people that I get in THEIR face. And no, I don't bash Council people, I only DISCUSS what I think to be poor behavior and decisions on their part. You seem to be the new DOUBLE STANDARD as I have not yet seen you contribute the conversation and not try to derail it. Maybe you should try it and you will find that more people will discuss instead of argue with you.

CC,
Your going around with this person has taken another topic right off track. When will you learn to let it go an not reply to this stuff. Oh well, killed another topic. Good job.

I'll take care of it Dave. Also, I'll be there in spirit, but I can't be there physically due to a previous committment. If it was on its originally scheduled day I could have made it. Isn't that how it always goes?:)

Hi there....welcome....I can't tell you how refreshing it is to read your post. I would trade 3 editors in a heart beat for 1 of you. hahaha The dog park was such a neat idea... I'm so glad it was completed. My lab and I generally play at Mastodon Park off Seckman..he loves the creek !
Next time I visit my relatives on Electra I'll walk down and check it out.

Thanks for the update, the official Arnold Parks site does not seem to be current on their Paw Park news updates.

Was there any hint about another dog park in the Arnold / Jeff county area? I heard a remark at the trivia night benefit that this would be the first dog park and another might be in the works, has anyone else heard anything about that?

I do not know that the rules are posted online yet, however, they are posted at the Park and are all pretty much common sense that really should not have to even be written down if you know what I mean. There is no fee, no registration, no passes, and the Park is open to all, resident and non-residents alike, so come out Sunday and enjoy the Park and the events which will start at 11am, with the dedication at 2pm.

The fact there is no fee and no registration is something that really sets our Dog Park apart from others in the St. Louis area. Some in the area require passes, registration, or proof of residency whereas the Arnold Paw Park does not. It will be a tremendous asset to the community and help build the community as well and give dog lovers a place to connect with one another.

Ok I'll come down, I'll bring my 90lb Boxer (BoBo) He is well behaved. I'll leave my chow chows at home. That's the park across the street from the old Pizza hut, Right?

Yes, the City Park is across from the Old Pizza Hut (which is just a parking lot now, building was torn down) off Bradley Beach Rd. The Dog Park is located at the very end of the main park road on the right.

Thanks. That park is going to be great. I have so many questions, but I guess they will all be answered Sun. Hope it's not flooded out.
