To set the record I had no issue with the picking but the rules they were breaking. Those members that were there had signs just placed in the ground (they are required to hold them) and were in the middle of the intersection at the stop sign with a sign sometimes and other times handing out information. While standing in the middle of the intersection this can cause a safety hazard for both the members and those driving around them. I was very open about asking the staff to contact them and make sure they were following the policy that is in place allowing them to provide their message in the safest possible way.

I'm not sure what you're talking about?? I didn't file anything. I only asked on the record and in an open P&Z meeting that staff contact and ensure that policy was followed and saftey concerns were met.

Judged: 1 To answer your questions about being Phil's friend, I serve on the council with Phil. I speak with him on City business as it relates to the topics as I do with all other council members. I would say I have not befriended Phil any more than I have any other member of the council. |

Looks like someone was caught with their pants down. hahahahahaha
Just like Phil to say he is for the unions..... Yeah right! Sounds like Fitter is not far behind. |
As a union member i support them in there efforts, as YOU A UNION ENDORSED CANIDATE SHOULD FROM HERE ON OUT MR FITTER. Question is have you ever picketed in you life if you have then you would know that you go where you hand out your flyers. |

concerned union member, You seem pretty concerned about the issues and if you attend the Jeffco Labor Club meetings, you would hear, as I have, that the endorsements go to candidates who support projects which employ organized labor. Fitter was on Arnold's council when votes were cast that supported organized labor. The CVS Pharmacy project employees local and external labor and the vote against the sale of the sewer was also a vote for labor and directly affected the well being of the currently employed city sewer department employees. There is a big picture and I am giving the guy the benfit of the doubt.

We as uion stick together, not just trades but as a whole some need to realize that, concerned.even thou mr fitter voted for cvs union build project, it is also non union retail also mr fitter voted for Aldi which is also non union retail. So maybe YOU should look at the big picture. Like i said before we all stick together not just pick and chose our battles which trade is better off but for all our union brothers and sisters. UNITED WE STAND DIVDED WE FALL. I for one stick up for all our union. One does not have to attend a labor council to have there voice heard, i am in contact to hear all the facts. so dont question my overall view. I HAD YOUR BACK DURNIGN RIGHT TO WORK BATTLE NOW ITS YOUR TURN TO HAVe ALL OF OURS. ONE VOICE ONE MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!! |

Judged: 1 Yes, with the exception of Bob Sweeney needing to spend big bucks he got from ATS to hire The Winding Creek Group, which is a campaign consulting firm out of Washington DC, to get his puppets elected, the labor endorsement has pretty much been the kiss of death. Anyone else wonder what is so important to these guys that the need to hire campaign consultants from DC to help them out? They do not even do this in cities twice this size. What are they hiding? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Didn't the last group drive foreign cars out there to the big endorsement meeting to get theirs ? Big joke if you ask me. |

Judged: 1 1 1 You really have some burn on for Amato. Any post you have in here seems to get in some dig. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Now pay close attention, this is not about a parade. This is about undeserving union endorsement. Maybe you could share what union activity Fitter is affiliated with. Someone that tries their best to stop pickiting then runs for the endorsement seems very hypocritical to me. Please explain |
