This place is a joke, I have worked in Information Technology for over 20 years. The people that come out of this chunk of hell, don't have a clue. They have no real skills and they are being lied to that they can get a job right out of there. They rarely get any certification and the degree isnt worth the paper its printed on.

ITT is really a joke. The students there are rednecks, thugs, and mentally and emotionally unstable. Take a good look at the students in the classroom. You can see the crazy. These "students" have 0 chance of ever succeeding at a real school. Yes even community college is too hard for most of them. I mean the students here sink to a new low. They disrespect instructors and are so unprofessional. When you go to a school that has pizza and cake parties (and fried chicken and popcorn, and movie night; during class no less) you have to realize that you are at a bs school. The majority of students really are low class losers who just can't do much. You have never seen such a weird concentration of dopeheads, white trash, thugs, misplaced middle aged workers (most of those are okay though)people who f'd up their teen years, and fools in your life. You stand a damn good chance of getting robbed at one of these schools. Crazy azz students constantly going off in class. Disgruntled left behind losers. And the staff...most of them are just as bad as the students.

Well Mr. AOL above me here seems to be very misinformed. I'm not claiming that the school is great by any standards but i KNOW you're being a tad bit too harsh about the students and staff that are there. I would say that what you described maybe encompass 10% of the students and 4% of the staff. Yeah, every school has their share of rejects, but you are very uneducated in this topic if you truly believe the BS you managed to string together. If i didn't know any better you sound like part of the 10% that maybe failed with a little spite added to your bite. I mean lets be honest here all of you that commented (minus the number 2 commenter, i agree with him or her) probably went to this school and either A) Made it though with flying colors and simply didn't believe in the quality of schooling they provided, or B) Failed miserably and decided to blame the school instead of yourself. I went there and managed to make it through with no issues and happen to have a very successful job in the field i studied. Do i think the quality of the material they threw at me was up to standards? no. But i still disagree with the majority that was said here on this topic.

Dumb azz please. I worked at ITT, so I know first hand what I am talking about. See azzhole I happen to have multiple degrees from REAL universities and I worked at ITT for years before I left to work at a REAL college. Don't get mad at me because you are one of those losers. In fact you need to get off Topix and take your retarded azz to a real school (if you can). ITT is a business not a school. Bye Mr./Mrs. Fool.

It is difficult for me to take you seriously when it's painfully apparent by reading your reply that you seem to have some difficulty in grasping the correct usage of the English language. I also couldn't help but notice your blatant usage of the word "AZZ".

I went to ITT for two quarters and was using my GI Bill. I caught on to the conspiracy and left for a community college for awhile then transferred to a University. So glad I got out of there!. I remember so many students in my ITT classes who were druggies, unusually immature, aggressive, thugs, felons who had previously been to prison, guys that would act like they were there just to pick up girls, etc. I recall a grown man that was having trouble with a problem on a math test and he started yelling at the instructor and then threw a book across the classroom then he stomped out of there and left. There was a guy who I remember started threatening to slit my tires unless I went on a date with him. When I reported this to the school they didn't care much. There was another guy who was in his mid-thirties, living with his parents, and had previously been to prison that ended up kind of stalking me (I was only 23 at the time) He was able to get a hold of my cell number, probably from that attendance sign in sheet that you have to sign and put your number and e-mail on. This guy started blowing up my phone always asking me to hang out and would get angry when I would reject him. He would keep trying to talk to me in class and would follow me around. I remember getting texts in the mornings saying "get up" and he would always try to ask me where I was at. Once I left ITT I ended up moving back to my home state which was halfway across the country and started community college. This creep sent me texts saying I have your address, I should pay you a visit. At this point I was laughing because he had my old address near that ITT half way across the country. In my experience throughout community college and at a university I had never come across the type of people that I did at ITT Tech. Some of those young people I met at a real college even the 18 and 19 year olds acted more mature in class than some of those people at ITT who were years older than them. If one of them was having trouble on a test they would just try their best instead of throwing a fit and storming out of the classroom. I never had anyone who followed me around or threatened me either.
