I'm doing some research. I would like to know the following if you are willing to provide it.

1. Do you believe in evolution, creation or a combination of them (ie., without God them evolution could not have happened)?
2. Do you attend church regularly?
3. What denomination are you?
4. Do you have a job in a scientific field sigh as biology, chemistry, etc?
5. What is the highest level of education you have achieved?

I'm trying to informally disprove an informal statement another person has made on the subject.

No. It has to do with a combination of education and what field you work in. The church questions are to illustrate another aspect of the results.

1. Evolution
2. No
3. Raised Catholic
4. No
5. High school graduate

From a very young age I questioned the bible. Knew it was written by man, telling people what THEY wanted others to believe. I choose to not live my life in fear and fantasy but to live with common sense and respect for ALL people, Christens and non-christens. Get so tired of people carrying on as too how blessed they are and quoting scripture but then being very mean and vindictive. Posers :(

If you have a Genesis question, then you go ask the Genesis expert, else you are only going to get foolishness and false doctrine.

It's not a Genesis question. It is a people's belief question. I don't have any questions about Genesis since I was raised in the faith and have a priest to go ask questions to that guides my religious growth.

And this isn't me. Most likely it's one of Doris or her cohorts trying to intimidate or bully me off of the board yet again by posting under my alias. Some people really should seek help.

Not in the way portrayed in The Book of Genesis. Scientific study has increased my my awe and faith more than a religious upbringing has, however.

I see design, genius and overwhelming conscious engineering in quantum mechanics, ecology, chemical bonds and even in natural selection - to mention only a few disciplines.

I probably perceive God differently than most, but I do see God everywhere.

May his love and guiding intention be with all of you.

Thought you said you were getting your own board to post on. Having problems with it?
