Midshipmen parents say meal prayer OK

Parents of U.S. Naval Academy midshipmen didn't sympathize with those opposing lunchtime prayer at the academy, disagreeing that the act is unconstitutional.

The act is not mandatory. Many mids chose not to partake and are not ostracized or persecuted for it. Also, if you are going to follow the logic that the government is secular and thus should have no involvement in religion wouldn't you also have to do away with chaplains?

Keep the prayer.
