In other words, we all believe in different myths and folklore because we need some explaination of our existence so we can sleep well at night. Even though in the scheme of things it really doesn't matter, nor that our Christian values conflict with our country's value of greed, corruption, and war. US influence includes supporting the oppressive dictators in Iran and Iraq that came back to fuel the resentment of today. It even includes training Iraq on WMD. I think all religion is ridiculous and the cause of many wars and suppression - filled with hypocracy and all about control. Even Christian history is filled with many attrocities. Go smother the flag in someone else's face. People in our country have become very complacent and naive of the truth. As long as you can live in your materialistic consumption-driven world, all is good. As for Severna Park High School - I'm not impressed with it. BTW - I served in our military.
