How about putting the bassturds that caused this mess into jail and taking the money back??? My gawd, Madoff is still free and his wife has a lot of the money. Why are they and the kids, all of whom were complicit, not in jail? Write your congressmen...

Oh, these poor investors. It's going to be really hard to live without jets, massive houses, multiple cars, a paid staff. Sorry guys, no sympathy from those of us taxpayers who are now paying for your greed and corruption.

Exactly, It's really hard for me to have much compassion for someone whos net worth dropped from 5 billion to say 100 millon when I can barely afford to heat my home which is a month away from going into foreclosesure! My heart bleeds for them....NOT!!

Agree completely. I was in Houston when Enron collapsed and knew people that had invested in the company. Ken Lay got off easy by dying with a heart attack and going immediately to hell.
