A cause for celebration at Monterey Bay Aquarium

Slight correction to the article in this past Wednesday's (May 7) Taste article on "Out of this world ideas for 10 unusual ingredients". The statement is made that piment d'espellete dried ground pepper comes from "the Basque region of Spain", which is incorrect. It actually comes from the Basque region of France, on the other side of the Pyrenees mountains from Spain (check it out on a map). I have visited this wonderful area, which includes the town of Espellete, and others that produce this highly controlled product. It actually has it's own AOC (appellation, like wine). I have become hooked on incorporating this product into various dishes, as it imparts a very unique spice element, without being overpowering.
