I am proud of the Arlington ISD School Board at this point. I just wish they would not have hired him, but at least they are acting swiftly to clean up the mess.

I thing that Montenegro should be prosecuted. He knew what he was doing was against the law and he just thought that people would be too dazzled by him to notice. What were his words: "What I have been engaged in is very common practice" ... I agree with the race protesters about one thing (and one thing only). Other schools SHOULD look at their superindents to see how much of this is going on after the law was MADE CLEAR last year.

Thank you to all the El Paso posters on TOPIX who have shared with us his past aggressions. It is too bad that the El Paso Board was not up front with our Board. It is clear now that they just tried to push him off on us.

The El Paso Board states in this article they will bill Montenegro for any misspending they find following their audit. I think we should bill him for the attorney fees we (taxpayers) are spending now cleaning up this mess that he has caused in Arlington.

Also - The Star-Telegram has been so BIASED in their recent reporting ... after they race card was played. Before, it seemed they were just bringing the facts. Now, they are quoting all these race baiters (ones not even from Arlington)and seem fearful to give the other side.

FIRE HIM!!! THIS IS NOT A RACIAL ISSUE- Plain and simple HE BROKE THE LAW!!! It does not matter if he is Hispanic, Black, Chinese or White- The Law Applies to EVERYONE! He has created a mess and it needs to be rectified before the school year begins!!!He knew exactly what he was doing...sounds like he thought no one would notice-does he think the AISD and the people of Arlington are idiots???? Our school system has always had a high standard required for its employees and hopefully my tax dollars and yours will keep that level of expectations a reality~

IMHO this needs some attention. Who did he hire as superintendent? From reading the post in several Topix threads, it looks like many good people left or were replaced.
