Illegal night clubs???

I'm confused....For about 3 months I leave work on Friday & Saturday night, about 2am, I take Abrams westbound to catch 360 and I pass what appears to be a "barber shop" in daylight hours. As I pass about 2am I see patrons waiting in front of this building holding beer and liquor . I couldn't tell you the name of where the patrons enter because...THERE IS NO NAME, but it's the building next door to Peepin' Tom's. Now, this is where I'm confused.....Isn't it TEXAS LAW that no alcohol after 2am in any business?????? At what point does the CITY get involved? I mean the strip club "Hardbodies" was known for being able to smoke dope in there. If someone who doesn't smoke dope knows, surely the city had to as well!!!! And...it's still open. The only way this city is going to clean up is if the city does what it is paid to do. I start to think to myself, do i really want to raise a child here? This is not New York or Las Vegas. This is Arlington, TX!!! Now HOME OF THE COWBOYS!!!! Let's clean this place up people.

I'm pretty sure it's where the guys can take the strippers for a little after hours fun. maybe city officials are involved. you did say booze and strip clubs. no wait, they take bribes and extortion. LOL. but you are right when you say we need to clean this city up.
