The town has been run like crap through the Watson years, then the Billy Phillips years, then the Don James years. None of you good people like Ronnie and Karen who care so much and Mayor Beretta who doesn't care oh and don't leave out Doug Starnes who is affraid he won't get anymore kickbacks. And some more of the towns fine peope. You fine people never said a word, funny. Now we have a lady trying to do the right things and all you people do is try to find ways to make things harder or worse. As a citizen I say go ahead and keep fighting the good she is trying to do and break the City of Gallaway even more and maybe it will bankruipt. Then the state can and will take over and raise taxes to pay the debt of the City off. But that would be better than ever having any of the former employees back in this City again. I guess all you FINE PEOPLE just woke up and decided that the City has issues that you all want to address but you never cared before. Sad.

The best thing to EVER happen to Gallaway is for the county to take it over. It doesn't have the competent people there to manage it on a daily basis.

Gallaway has the most potential for growth in Fayette County. THere should be no reason for it to not have grown as much or more than Oakland. It is a mile from Arlington, and its city limits runs to and encompasses some of I-40. The only reason for its failure to grow is the lack of management available in the city. If Fayette county took over its governing body I really believe the COMMUNITY OF GALLAWAY would begin to prosper.
