Coming from a Lib, that's rich. The Liberal Left IS the party of symbolism over substance. One man sees a "solution" as getting out of somebody else's way and letting them take care of their own affairs. Liberals see "solutions" as more government, more tax, and more meddlesome bureaucracy.
Shutup Lib--you're an idiot.

It has taken me a long time to decide who to vote for. I'm anti-Washington but I'm also anti-Raleigh.

The Democrats blame everything wrong on Bush and don't accept blame for the bailouts or the massive debt Obama and the Democrat congress created. The fact is Bush has been out of office for 2 years. The Democrats created this multi-multi trillion dollar debt.

Elaine Marshall has been the WORST SECRETARY OF STATE. The News and Observer did an investigative piece because of all the complaints. The hinted that ELAINE MARSHALL WAS INCOMPETENT. She, most definitely is a member of former governor Mike Easley's administration which has been charged with abuse of power and accepting illegal contributions.

I really would like to vote for Dr. Beitler, the Libertarian. I like a some of the things he is saying but he doesn't stand a chance.

I'm voting for Burr. He's a good senator who cares about North Carolina. Marshall only cares about voting for whatever Obama wants. Thats just wrong!

I also would like to vote for the Libertarian candidate, but am afraid it would be a waste of a vote. It would be nice if we could get everyone behind Dr. Beitler and get rid of Burr AND Marshall.

Funny! Like I said, "ignorant, stupid and hateful, with NO ideas, NO solutions, NOTHING to offer, except more of the Bush doctrine, incompetence in exponential form"! Oh, don't count on "takin over" anything. Your T-Bagger candidates didn't compete against anyone and only got a fraction of the voters for entire states, ie, O'Donnell only got 30,000 votes out of over 400,000 registered voters in Delaware and now Ol' Peckerhead in Alaska has PO'd the T-Baggers that voted for him in a 3 way race in Alaska and he PO'd Todd, so, Murkowsky is going to be elected again! Then you have nutcases in NV, CA, OH, WV, FL and several other cases, that stink so bad Repugs can't vote for them. Like is said, "Don't count your T-Baggers til they are hatched"! Memphis is known for having a lot of ignorant, hateful people and you represent them well!

Topics/Forum in Asheville is 90 percent Repuglican, so the Poll is invalid to start with, prejudiced towards Repugs, don't bet on "Durr" winning.
