Sounds like Billerica finally has a winner.

Now let him run the town, and for gods sake pay him!

Selectmen: Curran may be your best chance to be leaders, let him do his job!!!

From what I know of Mr. Curran, I'm confident that you've got him nailed on both counts! I'm looking forward to having him as the Town Manager here.

God Bless! Hopefully he'll last and not get "Rosa-ized" or "Lombardo-ized". Maybe this will finally be the guy to stand up to those idiots. Let HIM run the show not the "Three Blind Mice"

Billerica needs a Town Manager who is independant from the Selectmen and makes decisions on what is best for the town as a whole.

Hopefully Curran will be independent and not be under Rosa and Lomvardo's thumb. I say Williams on a cable show and it was obvious he could take more of those two. He rode him pretty hard.Let's hope they don't drive this one out.

Maybe Correnti will stop with his dozens of daily e-mails. He's a real micro-manager.

Maybe the Selectmen will charge Curran with coming up with a five year plan.

Maybe all the Selectmen will give him a year to get his feet wet.

Currans a professional, let's hope the five Selectmen will act professionals.

Maybe some of current Selectmen will not be re-elected?

Maybe some new blood will get elected and change things for the better.

Who knows what will come?

It was a very good show. Hopefully, it will continue to be informative and NOT!! parochial, when it comes to politics.

Good Luck to Mr. Curran.

Note to Mr Curran: wish you much luck, and remember that most of your supporters will be the town residents, not the "inner circle".. Be careful of the two faced pols and employees in this town and you will be fine. Please, help and don't disappoint us.

Good Luck to Mr. Curran.
As our web page says "a little bit of politics, a little bit of news, a lot of sarcasm”. Meaning we will take on any issue, not necessarily in an objective fashion we will let our feelings be known, and we will not always be politically correct.

We will not shy away from any guest regardless of their point of view but it will be a fair discussion of the issues. We will not ambush or belittle anyone’s viewpoint. With Tony representing the Right and Peter and Jimmy representing the Left (yes, it takes two of them to match wits with Tony), we expect to mix things up in future shows.

Please feel to share show ideas.

The buzz on Correnti and his emails is getting stale. Get new material. As for Curran, let's hope he is what everyone publically says they want in a Manager- - someone who is independent. We need someone who will stand up to Rosa and Lombardo. Someone who won't let Rosa crash into his Department Meetings or bully the secretarial staff. Someone that won't be intimidated by the diaper clad Lombardo. As for Correnti, I like his independence and the fact he goes to the mat for residents. He's tenacious and responsive for residents. When you want answers-ya go to Correnti. Just watch the TV and watch the idiots on the Board-they always look to Correnti for answers. And Rosa never returns calls. Doesn't have an email address. Only time you see him is when he's suckin' up to you for your vote. You watch, he'll be everywhere now telling ya what ya want to hear - 'cause he's running for re-election. He conned me once before but never again. The word on the street is that he's out this time. Voters have had enough of him. There's a good guy on the FinCom that's going to be running and he's got the behind the scenes support of the Greene machine.

Nice Try:

If anyone goes it's Correnti.

Even the Town Employees, are tired of his two faced actions.

People haven't forgotten his wanting to give his buddy the Assesor a $25,000.00 pay raise. Screw the DPW guys that have taken the big hit with the budget, take care of your buds. Watch how he tries to low ball the new Town Manager, he's a piece of work.

They also haven't forgotten his actions on firing the Billerica's Conservation Commissioner who was State Commissioner of the year.

This is the guy who loves to tax as much as possible. He made Montouri's life miserable. He's the reason either Montouri or the Swampscott Manager will be in Tewksbury next month and not in Billerica.

This guy is just pain MEAN. If anyone goes it's him.

Nice Try "Nice Try" but you're a one-trick pony. You have only one note sounding out of your bugle. If I recall, it was Lombardo that wanted to screw the DPW more-he wasn't satisfied with zero increase. Wanted to pound more out of them. The Conservation issue is interesting. Isn't she the one that tells the Environmental Investigator to go easy on Rosa because "he's a friend of Conservation appointees"? Now that's taking care of your buds. I hope Monuori gets the Tewksbury job-he's been turned down by so many other towns. Why he couldn't even get ONE vote of support down in Plymouth. Maybe his constant bad-mouthing of Greene has finally caught up with him.
BTW, didya notice the blatant politics with the "First Amendment Award" to Casey? Typical move by that guy Cavicchio who no one likes. They can't wait to bounce him out at BATV. None of us there like him. He's so condescending to all of us.

Hey "Nice Try" -- the one that's going this time around is ROSA. His support has vaporized. People are sick of his games. And I'm tired of his bleeding me for money every time he runs. No one on the RTC is supporting him.

Dave is right! "Nice Try" is so transparent. The Conservation issue is old too! Correnti got back on the Board after that. So the voters didn't agree with you! Ya can't find new crap so you just recycle the same ol' stuff. I'm tired of Rosa.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
