When I first heard of the fire that decimated the pawn shop, my first gut reaction was "Who lit it?". I have been a loyal customer for some time and have witmessed them arguing amongst themselves on a number of occasions about money, other tenants and high rent rates. There have been rumors about them removing items from the store as early as a week prior to the fire. This begs to question...Where did these items go? What will happen to the unsuspecting people who entrusted them (the pawn shop) with their items? Will they be reimbursed for the actual value of the items or only for the dollar amount they were loaned?

I spoke with the owners best friend Amy who owns Hot Tans in Smokey Point and who is the person that is collecting all pawn slips for the owner and she states that the owner is going to reimburse everyone that has lost items or exchange it for a like kind at or close to the same value. The ones who had jewelry in there, like myself, are okay and the jewelry is fine and will be dealt out to the customers as soon as the insurance company and attorney lets them. I havent heard anything further since a week ago.
The owners Soun Whitaker and Sun Whang, both or one own a couple different Pawn Shops. One in Mount Vernon and I believe one in Bellingham, which I am still investigating and one in Federal Way and also they own a couple other different businesses. Soun Whitakers ex husband owns the Arlington Shooting Range and a couple other businesses that they started together. I know I better hear something soon or our family attorney will be getting involved.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
