There is a second plaintiff in addition to the Nicioli estate. Cab companies only carry $350,000 per accident coverage. If the cab driver was at all liable, the money would have to be split between the Nicioli estate and the other plaintiff. If Ed Colby really did T bone a cab at 80 mph, the cab passenger, if that is who the other plaintiff is would get more money than the estate because, as has been pointed out, she knowingly got on the back of a Harley with a drunk, high driver
Did Ed Colby have real low insurance limits?

I'm not sure I understand. What's your point? Money??

Lol. Carla, I do hope you realize that Flo was the one requesting they go on this ride. She consented 100% to this, and it was clearly determined the accident was not caused by Edward.
But putting that all aside, you sit here butthurt beyond belief, posting on an internet forum to make yourself feel better about it.
With all due respect, rest Flo's soul, but this was an accident.
Keep your biased opinions to yourself, because quite frankly, the fact that an innocent man being withheld in the prison system with total innocence disturbs me. Your opinions and beliefs are completely twisted, and you need to learn how to look at both sides before you spew garbage from your mouth.
I will speak anytime I want . If you consider it garbage, you likely enjoy the taste. The man is being withheld from what? He is being held because he is a convicted criminal. Sadly, he was not convicted of murder. His drunken-druggy ass should be imprisoned for life. He is a murderer-nothing less. Likely, when he gets out, he will return to his alcohol and drugs and possibly kill again. No sympathy for this worthless scum.

Must not have had a "murder" case if you couldnt prove/convict him of murder. Sounds to me that the judge would have convicted him of murder if that was the case dont u think? accusations dont convict... Wreckless homicide is an unintentional death. Not murder.

CAN YOU SAY ACCIDENT? three involved here....Ed, Flo and the Taxi cab driver. Ed is not a convicted murderer. He NEVER will be, so don't you think its about time that you move forward? Flo made a choice and Ed made a choice, get over it. We were not there. MOVE ON, MOVE ON. Easy to point fingers ain't it?

i think there was a passenger in the cab too.
Flo is my younger sister. I did not meet her until she was about 33 years old due to "family" disagreements. I also lost my middle sister Arleen in September, 2010. My son passed in 2004.

charge: "aggravated DUI, wreckless 'homicide', alcohol, drugs"

I'm not sure if I understand this one either. Money is the root of all evil.

Here comes the bride---There was no 80 Miles per hour. You can't even go that fast on lower Wacker. A professional Accident reconstruction team confirms this. That speed would have certainly killed everyone involved. Your hurt has made you vengeful. Let Flo rest ---It's over

The ever trapping burning cell has a special corner reserved for those of vengeful heart. Flo would disapprove of this hatred twords someone she cared for and trusted. I am sure.

Involuntary manslaughter, not wreckless homicide. He was charged with the latter, but these were dropped.

Matthew 7:1 - "Judge not, that ye not be judged.+"
Mark 11:25 - "If you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses."

Flo was my dearest friend and to this day the loss of her still hurts, but I hold no grudges nor place blame on Ed Colby. My heart goes out to Ed and his Family as they suffer for what has happened. I hope and pray that Ed will be able to forgive himself just as Jesus already has.
To Flo's family, please forgive. I have seen this kind of anger first hand and the destruction that comes with it. The hurt that is caused by this anger will hurt yourselves the most.

kar·ma/ˈkärm&#601 ;/Noun - The sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences

To friend in Mesa, AZ - are you truly comfortable with karma that you are creating??? Only you can decide that one. Every statement and every action you make will one day come round full circle so that in turn you can experience the same. Do you really wish that kind of sadness upon yourself and/or family????
