Nothing amusing here, other than they allowed him bail.

If the guy won't/can't stop drinking and driving, I guess he has to go away, but what about the fact that he has an alcohol dependency problem?

He must be held accountable, but it's a shame there isn't a recovery formula that would work for the guy.

Now, everybody lay off the cocktails before driving this weekend.

He needs to get the maximum sentence. How in the world can they let him go that many times???? He should have been in jail a long time ago. Thank god he hasn't hurt anyone.

Looks like our 3 strikes and you're out system isn't even working.

This is a great example of why the car seizure from a DUI would WORK. Do you think it would be worth it for this guy to have to buy 10 cars just so he can continue drinking and driving?

This is a perfect example of having a lawyer that gets around the "mandatory" sentence on these issues and judges that don't enforce the law. The prosecutor makes a deal with the offender's lawyer, tells the judge that he/she will accept probation or something other than the mandatory sentencing, and it's over. Judges need to follow the law.
