I hope you are true when you don't want him out on the streets.
I found the parole meeting in Wichita listed on the parole board website. I will be sure to get a statement in for the board to consider.
And yes I am very serious about not wanting him back out on the street, to the point that I has argued with other family members who still have a fantasy that he has served his time.
I can only hope that the parole board does not get fooled into believing he has changed, you can paint a turd and call it whatever you want but in the end it is still a turd. Tim is still a murderer in the end and deserves to die.

He was passed for a year and a half, that means more than likely he will get paroled next time. It will take a solid effort to keep him behind bars, I think there needs to be a letter writing campaign from the Ark City area to keep him behind bars forever.

Amen to that.
Also, I never knew why people condemed me for a family I've never met because of a last name I had for three years of my life. This happened BEFORE I WAS BORN and I never knew about it until now and I'm 19. Judge the person, not the name or family. Or better yet, don't judge at all.

First of all I will be the first person to say that if Tim Monasmith actully did the killing than he should stay in prison. But the whole story hasn't been told. There was another person involved in the killing. I knew Tim Monasmith, he stayed at my house alot growing up. He did have a bad family life. I truely belive in my heart that he wasn't the actual killer. I still belive that Tim was involved with the wrong person. I don't know if drugs or alchol was involved. I know that Tim was only 18 when this happened. His family(Dad) was not the best role model for Tim. To the grand daughter of Mr West: I hear your pain, I lost my father when I was only 13 months old due to my step-grandfather shot my dad dead in the back. The SOB that did this to my family was suppose to get 21 yrs and he got out in 7 for good behavor. So yes I know how you feel about Tim. Why did Tim take the blame for everything we don't know. But why should we live our life being the Jugde and jury for something that happened 24 yrs ago. I know it won't bring your grand father back just like it won't bring my father back. After I got told what happened to my father I was really upset towards my grandmother and other family members. But I have to be the bigger person and let My God be the Jury on Jugdement day. Yes I have hate for the SOB that killed my dad. But I am not going to let it consume my life. If Tim was the actul killer than on Judgement day he will have to answer to his crime. I don't think or belive that Tim will repeat what happened if and when he gets out of prison. I do belive that the whole story needs to be told.

You should know the facts, Tim was the killer plan and simple. If you would go to a Parole hearing and see the evidence from the trial you could see that.
He should stay in prison for the rest of his life. He will never be a functioning member of society.

I know Tim better then anyone. I stil talk to him about once a month. There is still more to the story then you people know. I'm so sorry about what happen to Mr West. But still Tim took the full rap on this. The court only let you know what the court want you to know. And Tim will be ok once he gets out. He still have people that love him and care

I just have a couple of things to say. Tim Monasmith is my brother whom I have never met. Tim wasn't lucky like myself or his 3 sisters. We were taken away by the state from our parents at a young age and adopted out. For some reason Tim stayed with Tonda & Gary. His life would of been better if he had been taken by the state like his sisters & I. I fear that he will look me and my family up when he gets out, but on the other hand I would like to meet him and get to know the person he is today. I do believe that a person can change by accepting Christ into their lives. I've seen it happen before. Christ can change your whole life in the blink of an eye. I do believe from the letters that I have received from Tim over the years that he has accepted Christ into his life and is now following that path. The day will come when he will be paroled because of over crowding in the prisons. Everyone will just have to accept the fact that when he is paroled to board must of thought he had changed and everyone needs to go on about their lives without stressing over the fact that someone who was in the wrong place at the wrong time is out of prison.

Your brother which I would not claim to anyone is a MURDERER. He deserves to suffer the same fate as his victim.
He is like all other inmates, using god as an excuse and a way to get out of prison.

You dont know all the facts, I not saying what he did is excusable, but Tim was not the only one there that night

24 years later and that is all you have, yes we all know about the other guy that helped. Get over it Tim is equally guilty as is the other guy. Who cares that the prosecutor let him off, he is in prison in another state. Even if he had been on trial right next to Tim the outcome would have been the same.

I went to kindergarten with ol Timmy and the only thing I remember about him was when the teacher had him in front of class because he had glue all over his hands and his face. I remember Mrs. Patterson saying "CLASS DO NOT EAT THE GLUE!!" So there ya go.

Out for only a few days and he is already kicked out of the house he was living in and in the streets, good to see the Parole Board did such a bang up job granting his parole.

To bad your a moron, his brother kicked him out after a fight the other night. I know a family member personally that had first hand information and has posted here before.
He is in a dysfunctional situation and a drug ridden home. I only post first hand information, so get your facts right. I heard the voicemails from one of his brothers and his step mom, so get a life and learn the full situation.
