come on fbi, get a profiler in there and don't let the case go cold. The first 48 hrs are crucial. look at everything..the school janitor, employer, looking for job, a car, posting an ad, extra curricular activities, community work, same ethnic groups, he has a job, has limited time, possibly works all week and has weekends off. someon who came to the house to do work or repair (sprinkler guy, painter....get em!!!!!!

There are some terrible rumors going around PHS right now about how the crime actually happened and the horror Cassie experienced. I only hope these are rumors and not truth for the family's sake. If they are true, the boys deserve prison for the rest of their lives. There are some really disturbed people out there. Prayers are with Cassie's family.

It is sad that Cassie is gone, her caregivers must wonder if they should have allowed her to have that liberty, yet there are four other caregivers how also wonder, two mothers who will never see thier son's free again. Yes Cassie had died and the boys responsible will pay either with life or death, but there are three mothers who have lost children, two look at thier other children and wonder what went so terrible wrong. How could thier little boys have done something so bad. Will thier other children grow up to be as broken... The circle of pain and hurt is felt by many

I am a friend and co-worker to the mother of one of the boys accused of committing this horrible crime. I am shocked that something like this could have happened. I have to agree with "pain begets pain". My heart goes out to all 3 mothers who are left with this huge void that will never be filled. I am shocked that my friends son is even a suspect. He came from a good home with loving and even sometimes over protective parents. It breaks my heart for all the families, and close friends. I hope that Cassie gets her justice but at the same time I hope the cops here have their shit together and know what they are doing before they ruin lives.

Warning Signs

Unfortunately, there are always warning signs that parents miss in cases like this. I mean take a look at the hateful comments he had written on his website ("More victims to come." - in reference to the columbine massacre -- "...I consider myself an atheist and an anarchist.")
This unstable youth even told classmates how he thought he could get away with murder and how he always dreamed about stabbing someone.("Brian would brag last year that he plans different ways to get away with murder,” said Skyler Pulley, a 16-year-old sophomore.“He always wanted to stab someone. He also talked about doing a school shooting.")
People, if anyone displays tendencies like these they need to be looked at with a microscope. Kids harbor a lot of anger nowadays and don't know how to deal with it. Just hoping someone else will take care of it isn't the answer. If you see/hear something even approaching violence it must be reported to someone who can do something about it - and not necessarily parents who are already in denial!

you know people...they cut her tongue out so she couldn't scream and cut her achilles tendon so she couldn't run and burned her face on the stove.this is not rumor...the medical examiner who performed the autopsy is the man who has stated these FACTS. He also said that there is no possible way that it is a coincidence that it was almost identical to the Nori Jones murder. lets throw a fit citizens and get the national media involved! if they change the venue for the trial...these kids may not get tried as adults.....

I have heard that one of the boys thought it would be a video made for fun and didn't think they would really kill her, but the other boy had intentions of killing her all along.

Hmmmmm. I suppose you wouldn't be interested in calling the Idaho State Journal and local news stations with what you know (anonymously)? Maybe you can provide details for them to follow up on if they choose. It will be interesting to see if they can link the one boy to the Nora Jones murder. Time will tell. It was also wierd that her father from Boise was placing containers all over town for people to donate too. The grandpa who had custody didn't know he did it. A bank fund has also been set up. I would rather donate to a safe bank fund than throw money in a container - you never know where that will end up.

I agree with Caitlin, if it cannot be proved, then don't post it. The rumor mill is rampant enough already. My thoughts and prayers go out to Cassie's family and friends, especially now that the second trial is getting ready to start. Justice will prevail and even convicts have their own sense of justice. Time will catch up with both of these boys.

i think we all no that those boys killed cassie and they should be locked up forever no one wants them out on the streets god only no's what else they will try to get away with. they already said they done it so lets lock them up forever and send the key down a river they dont desurve any freedom. my heart goes out to cassies family.

Yes, we all know they did it and need to serve a good long sentence. Speaking of sentences, Alisha, Bull****, cousin, family relative and Tara, you might want to stay after school more next year for help with your grammar and writing skills.
