Call it two-wheel road rage. A Keller bicyclist was cited for simple assault Saturday after he threw a water bottle at a motorist who he believed had cut him off.

The bicylcists that ride around north Kelelr and Westlake act like they own the road. I'm glad the woman cut them off!

If someone attempts to run over you, you should have the right to drag them out of the car and beat the heck of them. If the bike rider was obeying the law, the car driver should be charged with attempted assault with a motor vehicle. Our society is anti motorcycles and bicycles. The emphases is on buying big cars, burning lots of gas and get out of my way. If I am on the jury, the bike rider gets off.

well, the bicyclist is wrong. i couldnt read the article, but UNLESS the driver did something on purpose, it was an accident and NO ONE, has the right to assault another for making an honest mistake. its no less aggravating, but its still a mistake. i shouldnt have to say it, but apparently everyone around here has forgotten common decency and courtesy. yes, the driver needs to be more careful, and the biker should already know that they are hard to see sometimes. bottom line, someone assaults me and they bought a night in jail.

I AGREE WITH U BBJ. as for bikes in the roadway, the law is pretty clear. 2 bikers can ride side by side as long as there are 2 or more lanes in the same direction. i guess drivers forget that bike are vehicles as defined in the traffic code.

I am a cyclist from California and the cyclist from Texas are arrogant and think they own the road. Unlike California Texas has very few, if any, bike lanes and that is very frustrating, but it does not give the cyclist the right to ride in the middle of the road. I have honked, as a courtesy, upon approach of a cyclist only to be flipped off - dude I was looking out for you and just letting you know that I was coming. Or I honk to have the 3 by side riders move into a single file line and they refuse, that is so wrong and disrespectful. No matter what you do here in Texas you cannot please the cyclists because they think they own the road. Yes, It would be nice if the state had bike lanes in all their roads so it would be safer for cyclist to ride - so I blame the state too! Don't run a cyclist over, but cyclists need to have car courtesy too. So ride safe and get healthy - there are too many fat people in Texas.
