Just a thought to all the ignorant people who post assuting remarks to people they know nothing about. What has happend is incredably hard on the girl and her loved ones, along with is loved ones. Being able to voice your opinion is one thing but just consider there is a fine line that is called assult. What has gone on is a real life situation that has affected many people on different levels. I'm blown away with how people have reacted to this situation by harrassing this teenage girl. She is a victim and does not need to have people bashing her. I understand people have a array of emotions including being hurt and angry not believing someone who is a role model in their life can actually do such a thing. It happens though and it did, it disgust me the way some of her fellow peers are defending someone who hurt this girl because they don't want to believe that Kason was capiable of doing this, it is hard for her side as well because we are dealing with all the bull .... that people have to say but, we do consider their maturity level and quality of the person they are. My heart goes to the girl and I will stay true to her always she is a great kid that will live a happy ever after and this will pass someday.

This goes the same for priests, daycares, babysitters, teachers, etc. Someone can devote themself to GOD himself, pledging abstinence for the rest of their life, then go around and molest young boys. You saw that priest as a noble, kind hearted person with "good" morals, but secrety he had a dark life.
I think this goes any way with anyone. The nicest, modest, quietest, and most reserved person could be a complete sadomasicist. Anyone you come into contact with you will have to wonder what kind of person they are really, and for this reason, i do not doubt that he's guilty.

Although I am not a fan of Kason O'Neil, I do not believe he committed any crime, let alone statutory rape. Kason is an honest man who sometimes can be a little full of himself,but other than that, is a fine fellow. Unfortunately, it is false accusations like these that make me fear becoming an educator and is a reason why our public schools are suffering. It's quite sad when one 14 year old girl has the power to destroy everything a man has worked for in less than 15 minutes of speaking.

So what you're saying is that if he is an innocent man you will continue to make his life hell because of what some girl accused him of. And for the record- you and ONLY you can say when you're emotionally and mentally ready to have sex, regardless of the "law." I don't agree with what he did, if it is true, but like others have said, wouldn't she avoid him instead of cling to him if she felt violated?! And wouldn't she report it then and there instead of waiting two years to the point where there is no physical evidence left?! I think this whole thing is just a ploy to get attention. And nobody can just take out revenge on someone they don't know for something they may or may not have done... No matter what, his life is over. He will never be able to live this down- in prison or in the real world. A family member of mine works in corrections and even max security inmates have standards- and Kason would be at the very top of their shit list.

As a Scotia alum and former track team member I support Kason O'neil. I am hoping that his innocence is brought to light as quickly as possible. And like the poster from Southborough, MA you can slam me too.

Let's not forget the accuser had nothing to say when she was still at Hudon Falls, but after having transferred told a counselor who did not know Kason, etc. Sounds like a pretty demented fabrication to me.

And as for people who do know personally know the accused or the accuser you do not have any right to tell us "you people need to get your heads out of your asses."

Off to the Court of Appeals to have the 2 misdemeanor counts overturned. Obviously the jury didn't believe the girl and seemed to just settle after 4 days of deliberation with a juror who finally admits her daughter was a victim of sexual assault. Interesting that the parents of the "so-called victim" decided to plaster their faces all over the news saying they were happy with the results of the case, way to keep your daughters identity a secret.
