Sorry to hear that about your business, I would hope that you can find a new or Used Car dealership in the future! We are lucky to have 2 successful Citroen dealerships a Peugeot and Alfa Romeo selling New and Used Cars. Dont give up!!

Considering the excessive amount of robberies at your business, we always wondered why this was happening to you? Where will our gangsters go with their 300's?

I guess FCX will drive you around and buy your grocery's. That's all that town is going to amount too!!! A broken down mining community with no good businesses!! What a BIG JOKE Grant County has become!!!! There's not enough smart people in GC to bring in good BUSINESSES!!!!

Does Silver City have a Chevy dealership? I cannot recall! Anyways, so which businesses are still in operation? It sounds as if things are really bad in GC.

If Ridgewood had been competitive they may have stayed in business.
In 2000 I saved $6000 by going to Albuquerque to buy a car..Same car, but saved a whole lot. Then Ridgewood whined that I didn't buy locally.
Seems when we try to support local businesses, they all want to make a killing..

Six grand is a lot of money to save on a new car purchase. SO I guess that a lot of locals buy their vehicles outside of the city?

We bought our first Jeep from Ridgewood (over the internet since we were living in FRance) for a tremendous price $$$$ and our second and third vehicle from them as well. We wanted to support local business.

I'm convinced that, if we had shopped around, we could have saved substantially. We didn't, and by golly they bellied up. Good business practices, ethics, and responsability usually pull good companies through bad times.

If I can save one thousand dollars, I will most definitely travel a few hundred miles to Cruces or El Paso.

So they have no new cars? I know they dumped Nissan some years ago. What are they selling now?
I worked there when they first opened that place in '89 and am curious.
