I'm sure he was sorry. I was sorry when I got that speeding ticket, but I still had to pay it! He would have been more sorry if neighbors houses burnt down. Sorry does not justify stupidity.

Sheesh, while I would agree that the idea of burning weeds, even in a barrel, would be quite a risky thing to do in current conditions, don't call someone stupid unless you've never done any of the following:

- talked on a cell phone and/or texted while driving.
- traveled beyond about 5-8 mph over the posted speed limit.
- driven after having even one or two drinks.
- driven after taking prescription medication that causes drowsiness or some level of incoherence.

There are any other number of things that people do daily that not only put the property of others at risk, but also the LIVES of others. These are a few of the ones that I have witnessed, and at some of my less-than-proud moments, even could have been guilty of from time to time. Hold the guy accountable but save the stone throwing for when you become perfect.

And? What about fireworks? I think they better ban the sales of them since some idiot will no doubt start a fire shooting off some frikin airborne fireworks..
