In Hittite texts the expression becomes the single name Il-kunirsa, this Il-kunirsa appearing as the husband of Asherdu (Asherah) and father of 77 or 88 sons. Oh my gosh!

In a Hurrian hymn to EL (published in Ugaritica V, text RS 24.278) he is called "il brt" and "il dn" which Cross (p. 39) takes as "El of the covenant" and "El the judge", respectively. OMG!

For the Canaanites, EL was the supreme God, the father of mankind and all creatures. His sons were Hadad, Yam, and Mot. eeeeks

According to The Oxford Companion to World Mythology:

"It seems almost certain that the God of the Jews evolved gradually from the Canaanite El, who was in all likelihood the 'God of Abraham'... If El was the high God of Abraham—Elohim, the prototype of Yahveh—Asherah was his wife, and there are archeological indications that she was perceived as such before she was in effect 'divorced' in the context of emerging Judaism of the 7th century BCE."

Oh my, the poor copy cat Hebrews! LOL.

LITTLE YHVH - ANOTHER STOLEN PAGAN DEITY:

The name Yahveh originally formed part of a title of the Canaanite supreme deity El - "El du Yahwi saba ot".

Oh fu-ck!

THE STOLEN GOD YHVH -

The earliest putative reference to Yahweh in the historical record occurs in a list of Bedouin tribes of the Transjordan made by Amenhotep III. In it, mention is made of the Shasu of Yhw.

WHAT THE FU-CK, MAN!

PAGAN YHVH:

El was the head of the Canaanite pantheon, with Asherah as his consort and Baal and other deities making up the pantheon. With his rise, YHVH became identified with El to such an extent that El's name became a generic word meaning simply "god"; Asherah became YHVH's consort, and YHVH and Baal at first co-existed and later competed within the popular religion...

Judaism is a pagan tribal cult based on barbarism given its sordid teachings and evidently the god of Judaism is borrowed from earlier pagan cultures of the region. Competition of the chosen god with other gods forms the theme of all these tribal cults - monolatry at work.

There's nothing like monotheism.
So, no one can be a monotheist in reality.
The idea that one and only god exists who is the almighty and creator of the universe is a falsehood.
So, monotheism is a falsehood.
Monolatry ((monolatry - the worship of only one god although other gods are recognized as existing) is the religion followed by most people.
rabbee: no joel - you are not the only, monotheistic g-d here. no matter how much you denounce, all the other g-ds here.

Great. Now you just triggered human intervention by listing out the key terms ;-)
I forgot to add anthrax to that list.

I have been doing this to the NSA for years, now. A friend of mine used to have top secret clearance due to work for Lockheed's Skunk-works. He knew that his phone was tapped all the time. On a regular basis while talking to him, I would toss out a string of those buzz words, and others that were specifically linked to his job. And then spend the rest of the conversation discussing the typically boring matters that most people talk about: "Hey, let's do dinner Thursday. Can MaryAnn make it?" "Do you want to go for Mongolian barbecue, Chinese, or just fast food?" etc, etc, etc.

On occasion, I would even toss out the words, and then comment about doing this to the NSA...
:P
