I was looking at the picture of the volunteer fire dept on GLC, and saw at the bottom where he was wondering where it was taken. As I looked at the
pictures background, I realized that at some point Chelan had a lot more trees in the city limits. I mean real stately trees. Sure they were messy, but oh how pleasant they were to live with. I live in the southwest desert, and I believe we have more trees in The area I live in than Chelan does now.
