11-1 Not guilty?!
This is ridiculous. The fact that the one person is so arrogant as to think that there's no reasonable doubt whereas the other 11 think that there is is insane. Because of her/him, a person who may very well be innocent will have to be in jail for a much longer period of time.
Because if it's 11-1 this time, it's bound to be 12-0 some other time. And all the prosecution will be doing is torturing the suspect(talk about no cruel or unusual punishment) AND wasting tax money. I hope that they have enough sense to just dismiss the case.

Could not agree more! 11-1 what the heck! Hope the hung juror doesn't need the legal system on their side. The key evidence reported shows the Prosecution was grasping at straws! Pet hair and Fingerprint on cap - when the defendant had been at the apt. numerous times...definately reasonable doubt! The defendant lied - so did the boyfriend...and....
Set Malinovskaya free - the state has wasted enough tax dollars.

Thank God for the hung juror!! Had the accused walk, then justice would not have been served. Irina Zlotnikov would have been a victim once again. According to Deleware press releases shortly after the murder, Malinovskaya waited outside her ex-boyfriend's apartment for 2 days. When he left, she entered the apartment and bludgeoned Irina Zlotnikov to death. That, and the car rental records and eyewitnesses placed her at the scene at the time of the murder. So thank you to the one lone juror who had the decency to stand up for his or her beliefs, to not be bullied by the other jurors into agreement just so they could end the case. Thank you and God bless you. To the other eleven jurors, how can you live with yourselves for this? You should be extremely ashamed. To the prosecutor, go at it again, and this time win a conviction. Let justice prevail!!

How do you know how jury votes devided and that the majority - 11 favored acquittal and 1 conviction? Who told you 11 wanted to set her free ? Read the press. The decision was not disclosed even by defense attorney.

"Maurer wouldn't explicitly confirm whether the majority favored acquittal or not.
"But suffice it to say, I think it was favorable to the defense," he added."

Your passion is admirable, however you were not on the jury or in the courtroom to hear the case daily for 3 weeks. The news is a great tool, yet they only report one-sided key points - No one saw Malinovskaya enter the apt - Bondar's stories are questionable. Perhaps the jury completed their instructions...beyond reasonable doubt. The articles reported give me reasonable doubt.

I find it hard to believe that you are so passionate about a story that you read about in the newspapers. Were you in the courtroom for 3 weeks? Did you see all of the evidence and hear all of the testimony? Were you with the jury when they deliberated? You don't have a clue what you're talking about. And the jury was 11-1 in favor of aquitting her. George needs to read some other news articles. Maurer was quoted immediately after the case ended, but one juror told The News Journal that they were going to aquit her. You need to get your stories straight before you try to sound intelligent when speaking about them.
