Edmond Police Raid Apartments

Police are raiding an apartment complex in Edmond after reports of gang activity.

Its about time this happened. I have lived in Edmond my entire life, and The Rolling Green Apartments have always been known as "The Ghetto" of Edmond. Thank you to the Edmond Police for attempting to clean the complex up.

I fail to see what political affiliation has to do with a drug raid. The number of officers envolved is a safety measure. Especially in an apartment environment where a threat can be waged from multiple locations, overwhelming force is the proper course of action.

Truth is, law enforcement is never quite sure what they will be up against in this type of situation. Better safe than sorry. I don't think people appreciate law enforcement enough. How many times a day does each of us put our lives on the line for others?
