I live at Geist, and I don't have the time or the inclination to make fun of other people or where other people live. More power to the people of Noblesville and Fishers. I'm glad there will be a place where we can enjoy whatever type of shopping we like...whether it be JCPennys or a fine boutique. Get a life and stop trying to be a Carmel Wannabe.
You took the time to insult people from Carmel. You are such a dope.

Where do you Carmel people get off referring to a very nice community like Noblesville as "Nobletucky?" No doubt Carmel is a nice community but what's so special about Carmel over "Nobletucky?" Get a life, moron.

I just hope that with all the discount stores that are coming there will be a wall-mart or sam's club near there. It sounds like an archetectural dream and nice to look at, but I hope the prices are cheap. What we really need are some goodwill stores out there. We need more cheap discount stores. After all with all the foreclosures and all.
Oh, give me a break with the forclosures thing. Only 2% of homebuyers are going through forecloseure. Secondly, Indiana has not has NEARYL as many foreclosures as other states including OH and MI. I don't understand what the big deal is with the foreclosures thing. Explain it to me......

Good grief. Only in Indiana are people stupid enough to declare class warfare over a story about a retailers coming to a very nice, growing, suburban community like Noblesville. Some of you people on this forum need to see what real rich communities in CA look like if you think your precious, superior Carmel is so great. News flash for you......this 'aint California which makes Hoosierville look like a laughstock.

Get a life, Hoosiers losers!

Carmel doesn't have anything better to do than put others down? Give me a break Carmel, you are living in Indiana too you know. Here in Fishers (and Noblesville) we welcome new business, peroid. We enjoy where we live, new business and all of our neighbors. Perhaps to help put yourself in check you should refer to the Forbes Best Places To Live and Money Magazine surveys. My guess is Carmel has lost ground because of attitudes like yours and the fact that it has landlocked itself to any real growth. I'm sure there are plenty of Carmel residents with positive attitudes who would wish that you'd take your poor attitude somewhere else. Stand up, be a role model and improve the areas around you where you can have the most impact. Or at least, quit with the attitude, you're not as great as you think you are.

Most adults living in Carmel wouldn't speak like the guy who uses Carmel as his name. Most people who slam Carmel are angry they don't live there or just plain jealous.

If Clay Terrace is so great, why are all the stores in it closing so fast? The answer is simple, it costs too much to have a store in an area like Carmel. We are in Indiana, not New York. Basically, calling your neighbors to the North hicks is like New Yorkers calling people in Indianapolis hicks. When it comes down to it, take away the money in life and get down to necessity, us hicks will outlive you pampered people across the board.

Exactly Guppie!
If a person's self worth is "wrapped up" in what they wear, where they shop, i.e. material things...then sadly they may fall the hardest.
These people are a hoot...the topic was taken from Nobelville getting a mall to people being toothless, idiots, morons, insert the rest...ha haha, You can't help but laugh at these shining examples of, "I know you are but what am I."
LMAO, anybody for a game of rock paper scizzors?
It doesn't really matter where you go, people are just people, people!
I was at Keystone at the crossing just a few days ago, and trust me I was no more impressed with the stores or the people walking around in there than I would've been had I been at the Greenwood mall.
Like one poster said, "it's Indiana folks!"
Last point is, life happens, fortunes get reversed...try not to be so shallow in your thinking, it only reveals the insecurity of your image. lol!

You are extremely insecure if you are going to be bothered by a town where many affluent live. You should be happy Indianapolis has so many different areas to live.

Indiana has a larger number of less educated people than other states. That's a fact. You seem pretty shallow yourself assessing people simply by walking in a mall.

What is really funny here is how Carmel-ites like to make fun of people from Fishers and Noblesville as if they are more cultured, make more money, or more entitled. According to U.S. Census Bureau Fishers residents crush Carmel in the income department. Not to make it personal but we are younger and more educated as well. Connor Prarie adds a lot of history to the community and lets not forget the wonderful Symphony on the Prarie that takes place there.

I think this mall will be great for the whole surrounding community. Plans are there for "upscale" and typical mall type shopping.

Carmel also has a lot of pluses. I can't think of any right now though :o).

Why do you suppose that people nth. of you tend to look down on people to the sth. of them? Hmmm...
We all want to glorify Carmel wives by railing on them, thus protecting their pedestal image, as if they are somehow better people because they either have a little more money, or more aptly a little more debt??? I don't get it!!!
One poster even pointed out that Indiana has a larger number of uneducated people than the rest of the country...that is sad.
But lets look at it from this, "I'm more educated, I have more money, and I am better than you people, angle."
JJill, upscale? You can go to a JJill store and pay up to $60. for a pair of cotton/linen shorts.
Old Navy, not so upscale...you can pay $20-25. for pretty much the same cotton/linen shorts, and guess what the kicker is (to all of you well educated folks out there)? Either pair, JJill or Old Navy-are made in Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan, etc. etc. So take your high minded attitudes and tell us again whose really using their heads here...
One of the most remarkable things that I have noticed in life is this...People who really do have money and status are usually some of the nicest people you'd want to meet.
People who want to put on the "air" of having money and success are the snooty types who tend to look down on others. To me, it suggest that maybe it's a mask of insecurity that they're trying to hold onto.
Yeah, I'm finished now, and yes I do feel better.;)
