Body of ex-Pasadena police officer found - Pasadena Star-News

Officials confirmed Sunday a body found beneath a freeway overpass is a retired Pasadena police lieutenant missing since late last year.

I last saw Dave a few years ago. It was great to see him again. He was very happy, looking forward to retirement. Although I moved away from the area over 20 years ago, I still often think of Dave and my freinds from the PPD. I often enjoyed Dave's sense of humor and candor in our many discussions. Whatever happened to cause Dave's death we may never know. I can only say that I pray that he is now at peace and with the Lord in Heaven.

my dad worked with him in pasadena jail my dad was very sad 2 here about him .our thoughs and prayers are with his family .

I grew up with David since elementary school and was in the Boy Scouts with him. I last saw him at our high school's 10th reunion. He was on the force and looked great. Since I moved back to Pasadena recently I'd been meaning to look him up. I am so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with David's family.
