And the leftover mess from the hiring of Perfumo continues its saga. Hopefully voters won't forget in two years and other current board members who actively participated in Perfumo's hire will meet the same fate.

Now for Jeanette Mann, real behind-the-scenes president of PCC............

I wonder if Dr. Fellow will resign his seat on Upper District as he can't serve on both agencies according to state law?

The Board sure did screw up in a number of areas over the past two years. No wonder Baum poured so much money into his race even when he was challenged by a PCC student.

Good, normally I'm down with the Latinos (Castro), but it was her own undoing, and the rest, due to the fiasco with the former President. Not only that, but the warnings they received from the accreditation department sealed their fates.

I wish the would all be booted out and start fresh. Dr. Sugimoto was the obvious choice before and she got rail-roaded by Jeanette Mann so everyone is happy she is not the acting Pres..let's just hope it becomes permanent.

Who was on the selection committee for former PCC president PERFUMO?

They need to be held accountable for a MAJOR BLUNDER. They must not know how to hire the right person or see through hot air.

Problem was that the selection committee was bypassed by the board.

Thank goodness the community is paying attention to the PCC board and made changes this election.
Now get the rest out they have been incompetant for many years. So much back patting they must all have hand marks on there backs.

Dr. Sugimoto was not the "obvious" choice the last time. While she is probably a very nice person, she is not strong enough. The college needs a fresh start with someone who can keep the board under control and out of the micromanagement mode. Maybe two new board members will help? And in two more years, maybe some more new board members also? Here's wishing.

PCC has faculty making over $100K who NEVER show for classes; has faculty that have students teach their classes, and the most corrupt administration around. Maybe now some changes will happen now that 2 members have changed. Let's vote for 5 more changes!!!!!!
