Attention Arcadia Homeowners

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (2009 Stimulus Bill) gives Arcadia homeowners a $1,500 Tax Credit for Installing New Energy Efficient Replacement Windows and Doors in their Arcadia homes.

Requirements - Only for Replacement Windows. New Replacement Windows MUST have a 0.30 U-Factor(Value) or less AND a 0.30 SHGC to qualify. Energy Star is NO LONGER the Requirement for vinyl replacement windows.
Tax Credit is 30% of cost to replace windows up to $1500.

Most Windows WILL NOT QUALIFY for this $1,500 Tax Credit. Aluminum and Aluminum Clad windows probably will not qualify. Some Vinyl Replacement Windows Will Qualify. Some Vinyl Replacement Windows Will NOT Qualify. Check NFRC Stickers to make sure vinyl replacement windows qualify.
Some Vinyl Replacement Window Brands that DO Qualify are: Amerimax Vinyl Windows, Milgard Vinyl Windows, Silverline Vinyl Windows and others. Check NFRC Stickers to make sure vinyl replacement windows qualify.

Arcadia Homeowners must keep records that the vinyl windows meet the requirements. IRS will have forms for Arcadia homeowners for tax credit.
This Replaces the $500 tax credit for 2009*.

Here is a link to more details about the Tax Credit http://doorandwindowplus.wordpress.com/2009/0...

This 2009 Stimulus Tax Credit is not just for California or Arcadia it is for the whole United States.

Wonder if this will make people replace their windows.

What do you think Arcadia Homeowners?

I didn't know about the $1,500 tax credit for windows and doors. Right now I am shopping for windows and $1,500 would really help.

Milgard vinyl windows have a mail in rebate for even more savings.

Milgard Tuscany vinyl windows $25 each
Milgard Patio Sliding Door $75 each

I have been looking for windows for a while and can't believe the Milgard window prices. Great time to buy energy efficient vinyl windows if you can afford it.

I got Simonton windows installed in my home and love them. Very energy efficient and they do qualify for the $1,500 tax credit.

I went with the Superior Ultima vinyl windows. Very nice and very energy efficient. The Superior Ultima windows come with lowe366 and argon gas. The Superior Ultima vinyl windows qualify for the tax credit which was one of the reasons I bought them. Very good warranty.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Capricorn

Confusion reigns supreme today, especially when dealing with financial matters. You could get into a muddle when sorting out your accounts or when working out how much you owe someone, even though you may not notice this at the time. It certainly isn't the day for parting with large sums of money because the chances of something going wrong are very high.
