What about Aveson?

With the flurry of articles about our local charter schools within the Pasadena Unified School District area, Aveson School up in the old Noyes Elementary School site is never mentioned.

I believe Doug Roberts is partially correct but must take into account that much of the wisdom of the ancients was actually preserved by the Roman Catholic Church through the Dark Ages.
Mistakes were made but on the whole much of the education and preservation of books and documents was preserved.
