City of Manila needs to crack down on Meth users.

I would like to see the Mayor of Manila step up and put a stop to all the Meth traffic coming into Manila. With the police force we have with the back up of Miss>County they could make a difference in the community. Its going on all around us and it seems they drive by and turn their head. I feel even when traffic stops accure they turn away from them. This has become a white mans drug that effect everyone they are around. Manila is going down hill because of this drug and if we do not step up its going to take over. People talk about moving to manila and many have but when they look at Manila being a small town with a lot of Meth they turn away. I think we should have someone to stand up and walk tall and take them down. I feel our police force is staffed enough to do this. They do a fine job but its time to step up....

come on people you have to wake up, METH is everywhere, more so in small towns. your PTA mom is more likely to be on it than the thug on the street. Well maybe we all need to vote for somebody different in the Miss. County Sheriffs office for a start. Then maybe we can see a change in all the drug traffic going on in M.C.

usually when you read in the paper about someone getting busted with meth they also have some type of pills on them...i guess they go hand and hand...what i would like to know is how they can get their hands on so many pills..

Hell everybody knows who is selling meth and who isnt! So why does it take the wonderful police department so long to do anything, if they ever do? It seems to me, alot of this is ignored for a reason.
There is a bunch of Meth users in this town you would not even think they would ever stoop to the use of meth. Hell could be some of your kin folks! I am not kidding. Teachers, daycare workers, farmers, factory workers, your local car machinic, women who prepare food at cafe's, housewifes, a person drawing disablity checks (that we pay for). Truck drivers. It has totaly gotten out of hand. Something needs to be done!

the reason there are so many pills around is,veteran's go to memphis veterans medical clinics and whine and moan and the docs load them up with a bunch of free pills,witch they bring back to manila and call the local drug guy who buys the pills,who then sells them to his customers.these veterans risk losing their benifits by doing this.but still there are a lot of them doing this.

Thats not the main reason.People don't need veterans to get there drug.Who ever said bill poppers are worse is correct!

NO doubt there is a meth problem everywhere,the same can be said about pills.Pills are the most addicted drug on the planet.I seen people that were addicted to meth,cocaine break the habbit,I've NEVER seen someone truly addicted to pills break the habbit.

Well pimp your not to brite are you? Do a little reading on the meth problem. It has become the "white man" drug of choice. Pill poppers are usally persribed this medicine from family doctors for one reason or another. Yes the weak minded can become addicted if they choose to. But let a meth head become addicted and they are very unlikely going to kick the habit. Read up on it, and then when you can put proof on here about pills being harded to kick than meth I would like to see it. Now if your just running your head and dont knwo what your talking about then shut up.

I've seen first hand what an addiction to narcotics can do to someone,and the same with meth.You've obviously not really know a true narcotics junky.I won't debate it with you.No drug addiction is better than the other,but I've never seen a true pill junky kick the habit,I have seen a meth user recover.

A junky is a junky what ever the drug of choice while on the drug.They'll both lose there homes,and families over there addiction.The thing is,the government regulates narcotics,they make them addictive.As for the weak minded comment,thats any addiction.You being a jerk does nothing to further prove your point.

What I meant by that is that a drug addiction is a disease, 90% of people addicted to pills are put on these drugs from thier family doctor. An drug addiction just as many other diseases can be controlled, with self disicpline.
Yes anyone can become addicted to anything, and No nobody gets out and says today I will become addicted to meth, etc. But from first hand experience, you can go through rehabs and get off these drugs, with some help.
After you leave the rehabs the problem is in your hands. I can tell you mind control is what I think has saved me. I was taken 15/20 pills of my choice a day.(a doctor started me on) But to this day I will not let any drug whether I take a drink, pill, control my life any more. So if you choose to let your self go and become addicted, then yes it is your choice to do. Correct?

It was never a debate that it's your own fault if you become addicted to whatever drug of choice.I've watch a person on pills take about 10 pills at one time once,and about 5 minutes later vomited for whatever reason. That person dug the pills out of the vomit and retook them.I couldn't even imagine.
