averaging 1 homicide every 3 days does not enable bragging rights for a safe environment.

That's like being proud of getting straight D-'s in school. Hmm...
Talk about being inconsistent! Earlier you chastised me for talking bad about Baltimore and here you are jumping on the bandwagon. That makes you a troll.

Okay you caught me. lol i still love baltimore though, dont get me wrong. Im not happy with 10 homicides, that's all.
Thanks. I love the place too which is why I am so disappointed. Soft shell crabs, Bertha's mussels, oysters at the market ... I shouldn't have to risk my life to get great food!

nah dude believe me, im still in baltimore all the time, my cuzin lives in brooklyn, friends in lakeland, hamilton, highlandtown, edmonson, and yea theyre dangerous areas, but as las as you prove yourself, show respect, and dont get involved with the wrong people, youll be fine excluding robberies..but you want to avoid being robbed, look really poor..lol.. the inner harbor is safe though
Unfortunately, my old neighborhood has a blue light and one of those big white lights that keeps it from becoming dark at night. My old elementary school is in news for guns, my junior high was turned into a prison (much like it was when I attended) and I went to college very early to avoid high school. The only time I've ever been robbed was at gunpoint, in front of the house we grew up in, by someone I knew!(It's hard to play poor when you drive a nice sports car.) I can't visit my family without placing my life at risk from the same people who chased me out. My son is so not-cool, he gets beat up at Chess Club.(lol) He won't stand a chance in B-more.

(One of my closest friends left his teaching position in Harlem to come back to Baltimore and after two years has decided to go back to Harlem.)

My son is so not cool he reads the instructions and the strategy guide before he will play a video game! I know I was a total nerd, so I know nerdiness when I see it. At my engineering school, they used to call me "quant jock". I had to learn karate to stop getting chased home as a kid, as did my husband.(Who knew that knowing martial arts is a prerequisite for a Black man to get a math degree?) So we’ve started him in karate. He's tall for his age and will probably be 6'6" at full height (according to his doctors), but I've seen tall punks before. Heck, I’ve taught martial arts to tall punks before.

New Freedom (your ISP) isn’t bad. One of my brothers married a girl from York. That’s a bad place. I spent six years in Pittsburgh, a summer in Philly (still the worst experience of my life but probably because I was too young to be there), one summer in Lancaster, and one in Millersville. I loved being around the Amish. If it weren’t for snow, I’d return to Pittsburgh in a heart beat.
